We'll have a newly promoted and a top 5 team in our first 3 matches, with a top 3 side in our last 3.

The lad didn't even come on for the CL final or when Arsenal secured 4th, he's not coming back. However, he has been browsing the forum, I messaged him on Xbox asking him to come back and he said something along the lines of 'never again after what you've been saying about me'. God knows what I/we've said, but something's pissed him off and he says he's better off without us.

A new era dawns as Jose Mourinho and David Moyes start to plan their respective debuts

Manchester United begin the defence of their Premier League title with a tough looking trip to Swansea City, in a game that will mark David Moyes' bow as Sir Alex Ferguson's successor.

It's all change for neighbours Manchester City too, where Manuel Pellegrini can expect a warm welcome from the home faithful as the Etihad Stadium hosts Newcastle United on the opening day.

The Chilean tactician will do well to match the reception Jose Mourinho will receive on his second coming as Chelsea boss, with Hull City charged with the unenviable task of spoiling the Special One's special day in west London.

Cardiff City's first ever Premier League campaign kick-offs with a trip to West Ham United, while Crystal Palace welcome Tottenham to Selhurst Park in an intriguing looking all-capital affair.

The Emirates will stage Arsenal's season opener as Paul Lambert's Aston Villa side travel to north London for a tough-looking start.

Mark Hughes has been handed a tough beginning to life as Stoke City boss as he takes his new side to Anfield to face Brendan Rodgers' Liverpool.

West Brom will look to build on a successful last campaign by opening up against Southampton, while Roberto Martinez begins his Everton tenure with a trip to Norwich City.

Paolo Di Canio has intimated major changes are in the offing at Sunderland so it will likely be a new look Black Cats side that begin their campaign with a home game against Fulham.

All fixtures will played on the weekend of August 17-19

Premier League opening day fixtures:

Arsenal v Aston Villa
Chelsea v Hull
Crystal Palace v Tottenham
Liverpool v Stoke
Man City v Newcastle
Norwich v Everton
Sunderland v Fulham
Swansea v Man Utd
West Brom v Southampton
West Ham v Cardiff

WE HAVE CHELSEA AT HOME, LIVERPOOL AWAY AND MAN CITY AWAY IN OUR FIRST FIVE FIXTURES LOL!

Many United fans will have made up their minds on Moyes by the end of September.

AHHHH so excited but so nervous for the new season.

SEPTEMBER 21ST LET'S BE AVIN YOU

Newcastle, Cardiff and Hull first up get innnn, easy stuff. Fairly nice run in too, Everton the penultimate game which could be massive, but hopefully we'll have the title wrapped up by then.

Cheers Dan.

First five anyway. Community Shield vs Wigan doesn't count.
