From 2007-2010 the Spanish national team were playing wonderful football but ever since the WC they have been playing only winning football and im sure I am not the only one who gets frustated watching them dominating teams without even looking threatening. However when you analysis their competitors it is difficult to see where the challenge is going to come from....Brazil? too soon. Argentina? Maybe. Germany Yes. England? No not good enough and really you do fear that Spain will win yet another major tournament due to the opposition not being strong enough.

I really do believe Argentina will win the WC. Finally after a few years and a few managers they've found a system that gets the most out of Messi and also the other attackers in the squad. Messi gets so much more space for Argentina these days, and it's mainly because he's playing in midfield with 2 attackers ahead of him who occupy a lot of space. they probably play the best football in the world at the moment in terms of national teams, and it's pretty much only because of Messi. He plays more like Maradona for Argentina these days, pure playmaker but also a massive goal threat.

Germany are going to have problems at the WC IMO. Don't think any of their talented mids are really suited to playing false 9. Wonder if they can squeeze another good tourney out of Klose.

What does the future of Spain look like? Embarassed at the WC, slipping up against teams like Slovakia , and their Under 21 team have failed to qualify for next summers Under 21 Euro 2015 tournament. End of an era as far as Spain are concerned or do you still regard them among the favourites for Euro 2016?

Among the favourites. A change in style is needed though. Quicker and more aggressive.

Too many talented players not to be a threat at the euros. I do believe del bosque's time has been and gone. Not sure who I'd like in the job tho.

Would be great to see Roberto Martinez working with the likes of Xavi, Iniesta, Cesc, Costa etc and to see what he would be capable of with players of that calibre.

Probably massively out of his depth. Arsenal is his biggest possible destination imo.

Martinez is a quality coach but, and rightfully so, he needs to prove at the top level for consecutive seasons.

What are Everton now? 17th with 6pts? I can't see them overhauling any of United/Arsenal/Liverpool/Spurs and now Southampton with 5-7 pt deficits. Probably end up 7th-8th this season and it'd be categorised as a failure.
