Despite the apparent interest from all across Europe, this boy has remained faithful to Ajax since he knows it would be a fatal mistake to leave Ajax when he is happy and settled to join a big club like Chelsea only to play every now and again. At the moment he is living in a nice city, playing every week, winning titles and is the star player of a massive club like Ajax so you can very much understand why he has been reluctant to leave but I do believe that if not this summer then certainly the next he will move on and much like Luis Suarez I sense that he will depart Amsterdam for Merseyside since Liverpool have been tracking him quite closely for sometime already.

Eriksen will join Liverpool because......

-Liverpool will be willing to match the transfer fee needed to get his signature

-Liverpool are trying to create a side around young and upcoming talent

-He will fit into Brendan Rodgers philosophy

-Eriksen will want to join a club that can guarantee first team football

I'm not sure where he'll go personally, lots of links to Liverpool and Spurs, but would he go to Liverpool and miss out on CL football for a few years?

This is getting out of hand.

FA Cup final is the same day as the Copa Del Rey final. I hope I don't have to miss Arsenal.

We like buying #10's and shoving them outwide, then brand it that we're "adapting to the modern game."

Nothing wrong with playing #10s wide, but United already have one that is better than Eriksen who isn't getting games. Eriksen has been available for a reasonable fee all summer and clubs like Dortmund and Liverpool have both turned their noses up at him. He's a good player but he's not progressed as much as expected. Apparently he's quite for Denmark as well.

Yes, and in our system you won't get the best out of Kagawa on the left; so i'm not sure what the point in bringing another one would be. A lot of Utd fans at the moment want 3 tight, intricate, interchangable players behind van Persie; similar to what Chelsea have at the moment. It sounds great in practice but i'm not entirely convinced we'd be any better off than the system we play now. It may because of the lack of high quality available wingers at the present but i can't see Moyes changing our system any time soon to fit what's being suggested.

If Spurs do sign him i dont expect him to impress that much at all, like Dag said, says a lot that noone else has tried to buy him, Spurs are just buying him for the sake of it, He's quite a limited and lazy attack minded midfielder

This has been the case with all of Spurs transfer so far, no other club has genuinely been in for them. Hence why im not too concerned by the mass additions. Losing Bale is a bigger loss then these players can make up for

there would have been many takers for Paulinho and Lamela and maybe not Soldado at the price they paid but lots of top teams would love him up front for them
