Andrey Arshavin £80,000 £4,160,000
Gervinho £70,000 £3,640,000
Sebastien Squillaci £60,000 £3,120,000
Nicklas Bendtner £52,000 £2,704,000
Andre Santos £50,000 £2,600,000
Denilson £50,000 £2,600,000
Ju Young Park £40,000 £2,080,000

Assuming Gervinho does leave, and Park moves on, that's £20,904,000 per year.

Bit like Lucas nowadays.
Clever...

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

You missed out Wenger's fat 7.5m per season, hopefully that will be off the books along with the other wasters.

FA Cup final is the same day as the Copa Del Rey final. I hope I don't have to miss Arsenal.

The real question is Chrissy, which do you prefer?

Beginning of a new era for Arsenal folks. From here on out Arsenal will have the funds to sign at least two world class players every summer, all from internally generated revenue sources. No money from Kroenke at all, we don't even need the lad to chip in.

And all of this is possible because of the genius Arsene Wenger. Reus/Draxler coming next summer, bet your house on it.

Ant what would your reaction have been if a few weeks ago you were told we'd sign Ozil?

Same as what it was yesterday. Disbelief that a genuinely good player actually joined Arsenal. Against his wishes obviously, he definitely didn't want to leave to join the mighty Arsenal. Nobody like Oezil will be joining again any time soon, complete one off based on Real Madrid's panic selling.

You would have laughed at the person telling you he would sign for us is what would have happened. Now I'm not saying we will sign either of those two but with Ozil we will have much more pulling power as a club and we will definitely be able to attract such players. Ozil turned down more money from PSG too

Like i was saying yesterday, Wengers involvement in making this happen can not be underestimated. Ozil has since said that Wenger was a major factor in his decision to join Arsenal, but it should go without saying that Wenger is a top top coach and very well respected in World football. His ability to entice top talent is still strong even without tastign silverware for 8 years. Not many managers would be able to say the same
