Banter how he criticised Jack and then in the next 4 games Wilshere does more for England than Scholes whole career.
There isn't an England player in this entire generation who you could say has had a good international career. England have done nothing of note since 1990. Wilshere's MOTM award against San Marino and Slovenia doesn't elevate him to the heights of Lineker and Gascoigne, they're Mickey Mouse games.
OWEN.

Half decent internationally. Won England some big games, but ultimately couldn't even get England past a QF. What is it you keep saying about Aguero? Reeks of contradiction on mine.

That is Europe.....this is international football, anyway Aguero had 0 goals in the world cup. Let Messi down massively, proper bottler. Injury prone as well. Messi needs a proper striker to work with, can't wait for Dybala to develop.

The entire English generation was a let down. A team with Cole, Ferdinand, Terry, Joe Cole, Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard, Paul Scholes, David Beckham, Michael Owen, and Wayne Rooney, all at their prime and have all reached the peak of the Premier League weren't good enough to look decent. It was a problem embedded within them as players, within the system, and the managers, so it would be entirely unfair to rate any one of them based on how well he does for England ffs.

Jack played limited minutes at the world cup and in 30 minutes created England's first clear chance which Sturridge bottle v Costa Rica. Had Roy the fucking disabled cunt started him every game, England would've gone far. SF far.

Yeh, I mean creating a chance against Costa Rica is the pinnacle of anyone's career.

Scholes

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart
