Because Chelsea are going to offer him ridiculous wages tonight or tomorrow.

:laughcry: :laughcry: No way. No need to offer a player like Ba huge wages, he'll be happy enough at the chance to join a big club. Stop trying to justify Arsenal's lack of ambition.

Never thought there was a chance we'd get Ba or any CF really. We did just spend £13million on Giroud.

After the loss of Robin van Persie to Manchester United in the summer, Wenger secured Montpellier forward Olivier Giroud - but reveals he came close to signing Demba Ba, who is set to move from Newcastle to Chelsea this January.

"It was Giroud or Demba Ba in the summer - they are very similar players. I was a bit cautious about the noises on Ba's knee injury, but someone told me the problem he has is manageable and can be prevented," he added.

U MAD, HOMES?

There's not much difference at all between them in overall quality. Ba has better feet and is more proven in the PL, but Giroud provides more and will get as many goals.

I have never known someone to chat as much shit as this wanker   :tremble: WHY ON EARTH DID WE NOT SIGN DEMBA BA AS WELL?

Wenger's logic-

Sell RVP- No replacement

Refuses to play Podolski through the middle

Tried to force Walcott out of the club

Allowed an unproven striker to be not only first choice but the only striker at the club

ARSENE KNOWS
