Hleb was our best player that season, not Fabregas.

Adebayor should've squared at one point in that game, criminal stuff.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Yeah too busy with his petty feud with Nicky B.

wenger has done wonders at the club but for me the big problem with him being the best in the world, came with the invincibles.

you create a team which goes unbeaten, possibly one of the best teams europe has seen for a long while... we should have have gone on to dominate with that team... we didnt, instead we fluked our way to an FA cup win and have done nothing since, and probably wont this season either

yes we have qualified for the champions league every year since, but a great manager would have built on that team, rather than taking it apart.

he could have gone on and and become the worlds best manager, but he decided on a course of action, on a plan, which has basically proven to be a failure in footballing terms.

we can go on and on about how he has revolutionised the club and built a new stadium etc, but that's not his job.

Leave out you ungrateful ignoramus. He's played a massive part in building us a new stadium and completely changing the infrastructure of the club, putting us in line with the elite clubs in Europe. He's done all this while keeping us very competitive with a special brand of football and with NO cash injection from investors. He's taken all the criticism without ever having a bad word to say about the club.

What more do you want from the lad!?

what more do i want? i want a football team that wins things.

he is a football manager, and his greatness, regardless of what he has done off the pitch will be measured by what his teams achieve, which since the move to the emirates is nothing.

im not being ungrateful, but the question is about him being the best manager in the world, not about him being the best economist, space planner or builder in the world.

The question is about him being the best manager in the world if he was winning trophies.
