With the new league season only a matter of hours away, over a third of Goal.com's readers believe Manchester United will regain the title from rivals Manchester City. Last season we enjoyed the most dramatic climax to a campaign in Premier League history when Sergio Aguero's injury-time winner ended City's 44-year wait for a league title and sparked memorable scenes at the Etihad Stadium. United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has added Robin van Persie and Shinji Kagawa to his squad as his side attempt to prevail over their local rivals and 37.32% of you believe they will capture their 20th league title this season. In second place with 19.95% of the overall vote is, rather surprisingly, Arsenal. The Gunners have lost their captain from last season, but readers believe Lukas Podolski, Santi Cazorla and Oliver Giroud can help Wenger's men challenge for the ultimate prize. YOUR FAVOURITES? In third place with 16.71% of the vote come the reigning European champions Chelsea. Eden Hazard is the marquee acquisition at Stamford Bridge this summer, but not a lot of you believe Roberto Di Matteo can win the league in his first full season. The biggest shock of the poll results is definitely Manchester City sitting in a lowly fourth place with a dismal 12.55% of the vote. Is the age old cliche that defending the title is harder than winning it for the first time the reasoning behind your votes? Tottenham with 1.39% and Newcastle with 0.95% round off the rest of the top sides. Meanwhile 0.38% of readers believe the title winners will be none of those already mentioned. |

![]() Winner. "If I go to Anfield and someone puts the ball into the box and Carragher hammers it out of play the fans applaud. At Camp Nou you would never be applauded for that." - Xavi | |

Brilliant, Goal.com making United's chances of winning back the title a whole lot more ridiculous because of the morons that actually bother with the website. |
