Forgot my England tops by the way. Had the one with the vertical red stripe through the badge with Owen on and my name on another.

I'm with Clancy on this though. I too in the loosest sense possible was a United fan. When I started to watch football though it was Arsenal and has been since.

WHO DIDN'T KEEP SCORE AT LUNCH TIME FFS THOSE SESSIONS WERE THE FUCKING HIGHLIGHTS OF YOUR FOOTBALL CAREER AT THE TIME ZZ'S VIDEO IS RIGHT I CAN LITERALLY REMEMBER WHEELING AWAY IN CELEBRATION AT SOME OF THE CRUCIAL GOALS I SCORED. CULE IS ONLY CHIRPING UP COS HE WAS A UNITED FAN TOO
I remember those times well. But never kept score. Was always like 20 goals each, who gave af?

I do remember putting in one particularly brilliant cross at break setting up the last goal. And also being called "our best player" after standing on the ball and rolling forwards off it into a back heel. Good times indeed.

Our "pitches" were quite big, even had wooden goals. Usually 6-7 goals in a match, but that was the beauty of those games, the scores weren't ridiculous like 19-10 but were tight, fought games with challenges flying left, right and centre and everyman on the pitch battling for those aerial long balls like gladiators. Titantic matches and we couldn't be bothered with the last lesson of the day after such match-ups. Those were glorious days.

Yeah that would be epic. More like a 5-a-side vibe at our school, but scaled up for 7/10 players on each team.

8 years old, scoring a winner late into stoppage time (whistle for end of break gone) and your team-mates go wild. Your celebration as a little kid?

You kept score in the play ground?
mate i organised the playground Fa Cup. In Year 4 i decided to put 32 english teams into a hat and drew them out and every morning and afternoon break we battled it out. Swindon won.

My only memory of not enjoying watching football was when i was about 5, i remember going to see a match and being furious that there were actually 2 halves to be played. From Euro 96 on i loved watching it though.

My trademark was doing over head kicks on the concrete playground in high school We had a area only allowed for football at lunch and was all caged up was class but congested was like 4 games going on at once all playing on one playground across from eachother , some horizontal games, 2 vertical games next to eachother with no markings, just inside one big cage lol

No scores were kept, but when that bell goes its last goal wins. That's when Heroes emerge.

I've always had 11 liban on my football tops. Never had another name but I had a united top from the 2000/01 season with a 9 on the back.
