The former Ballon d'Or winner is rumoured to be seeking a move abroad after a series of disputes with the Rubro-Negro but was expected to feature in a friendly game in Piaui this week.

However, when asked by supporters to address rumours that the Brazilian had been 'removed' from the squad, Coutinho replied: "I just talked to the president the Flamengo [Patricia Amorim]. It is already clear [that he has]. Patricia asked to apologise to the people of Piaui."

Coutinho is then shown on the video, which has been posted on Youtube, addressing a question about the perceived power struggle between Flamengo and Ronaldinho.

"Who do you think will win? Flamengo is 100 years old," he pointed out. "Ronaldinho doesn't do a f*****g thing."

Slow to cotton onto it.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Lol that league takes itself far too seriously if it expects Ronaldinho to make an effort.

Winner.

Ronaldinhos decline is one of the saddest stories in football.
