Lionel Messi has admitted that he is still tormented by Barcelona's "unfair" elimination at the hands of Chelsea in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

The Blaugrana dominated possession and territory in both legs but the defending champions ultimately bowed out 3-2 on aggregate, with their talismanic No.10 failing to score in either game and missing a crucial spot-kick at Camp Nou.

Barca also lost their Spanish title to Real Madrid last season, but Messi has revealed that the loss to Chelsea continues to bother him.

"I missed out winning La Liga and the Champions League, but I was more angry about the Champions League because it was unfair; because I missed a penalty," the Argentine told reporters on Tuesday.

"I'm very happy with the season I had. But we were angry about not getting the Champions League - we were close and we were very angry.

"But we will fight for more titles next season and the national team will look to secure a place in World Cup."

Yes,is unfair that the refree couldn't extend the playing time to 100minutes so that messi can score.Oh! maybe is unfair too that Platini, despite his promise to deliver the cup to Messi, coudn't do a thing to that game. Oh! maybe i dont really get what this "never grow up guy is saying".Its really unfair, that King Drogba should score at the Bridge and the Refree couldn't call it offside just to favour messi. Is quiet unfair that Ramires should score such a wonderful goal and El nino could do the magic at Noun Camp.Platini, its unfair that there was no chance, not even single "trick" to help Messi this season. I think its unfair to call Messi the best in the world if he is seeking favour to defeat CHELSEA and couldn't score the penalty.

Of course it does, you could see how much it meant to him and why wouldn't it? If I was him I'd be hell bent on winning everything I possibly good and cementing my GOAT status even further. He's hungry for more and that's the way it should be, so semi-final elimination at the hands of a far inferior side is going to hurt massively as he needs to make the most of his and Barca's current level of greatness because in football, things change quickly.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Why have you posted that?

Worst English you are likely to see and even if it was coherently worded, it's a pile of cringeworthy wank.

Winner.
