We might struggle with the 25 man squad rule though, something to think about. If Diaby is still at the club I'll be beyond gutted. Based on Wenger's comments recently I think he will be :(

Interesting to see what Chelsea, Liverpool, and Spurs do though, not to mention Newcastle.

I thought you wanted to keep Diaby as part of our new look squad of counter attacking specialists?

Can't stay fit mate. Has there ever been anyone as injury prone as Diaby? Wenger will always keep him though because Diaby puts his body on the line for Wenger. Wenger asks him to play hurt and before he's fit and Diaby never says no, hence he always gets crocked right away. Once you refuse Wenger he's done with you.

Poor management. Look how many injuries the City lads get, difference in management. Wenger lets your lads get up to what they like while Mancini is screaming at Komps if he's not in the ice bath within 5 minutes.

Sorry mate but if this is true then Wenger must have severe brain damage, it makes no sense at all.

I've said it time and time again that Wenger abuses his players. It's all I used to talk about on AM and I got so much stick for it. Look at the way he treated Denilson FFS, played him 90 minutes 2 days in a row during preseason lmfao, kid played for months with a stress fracture in his back then finally couldn't continue. Always forced Cesc back early and took 'gambles' with his fitness. Took a gamble on Pires and seriously fucked his career. I can name several other examples, and it does sound a bit far fetched, even to me at times. That was until I found some quotes from Ljungberg that I hadn't seen before, it was after he had left for West Ham.

Wenger likes players who will die for the cause and he likes playing his best players as much as possible so it's a natural consequence that we get more injuries playing in the England. It's one of the gripes I have with Wenger, he doesn't rotate very well.

Wenger is a control freak mate. There's a class story from when Ljungberg first joined the club. We were on an away trip and at night Ljungberg was in his hotel room. Lad wanted a snack and ordered room service, wanted some sweets lmfao. Apparently Wenger had told the hotel employees that if anyone ordered room service the order was to be relayed to him. So when Freddie heard a knock on the door lad got up ready to take his sweets, opened the door, and saw Wenger's grill in his face. Wenger told him that if he ever did that again he'd never play for the Arsenal again.

Why would he be happy with Diaby only playing 20 minutes a couple of times a season though? It's got so bad for the bloke that no sane person would bring him back before they think he's ready. Give him an extra couple of weeks and you may get a complete game out of him, it's completely illogical not to do this.

It is illogical, but like I said, Wenger is obsessed with playing his best players as much as possible. He's even admitted it many times, saying things like 'I know Cesc needs a rest but when I see him in training on a Friday I say to myself how can I possibly leave him out, and I never do'.

The more I think about it the more I think he's more of an Arteta replacement than anything, with Wilshere taking Song's box to box role behind a player positioning between the lines.

What do you think about Yann M'Vila? United fans on Redcafe wanted both M'Vila (don't know why) and Hazard, looks like they'll miss out on both.
He looks like a very decent player. I've only seen limited footage of him, but you can tell what he's all about. I'm not sure why United fans wanted him particularly, he doesn't look like he'd add a great deal to our set up, but I can see the value of having him at Arsenal.

I don't really know who I'd want to sign this summer to be honest. The only one who would be an exact fit for the system we play at present would be Modric.

Rasmus Elm wouldn't be a bad signing for United, but I don't think he's the type United fans want to see. He's closer to being a Carrick than he is a Wilshere, which is the type of player I think you lads want. I think SAF will put his faith in Cleverley.

I have far more faith in Anderson than Cleverley. I know he's a sack of shit most of the time but the lad's never had an extended run in the team, and his style of play would be absolutely perfect for our midfield it really would.
