Diego is spot on here.

On a side note there really should be a CL spot for the FA Cup winners.

Lmao no he's not.

Cringing at Spurs fans cheering the fact their side had got CL football? What?

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

finances can be obtained by other avenues liverpool haven't suffered in being able to buy players despite their absense from the cl
Go on then, tell us how someone like Spurs is going to come up with the 40M in CL money. As for Liverpool, yeah they've splashed the cash a little bit, but that's only in an effort to get back into the CL. This is their first year with the new owners, if they don't get it next year they'll have to start settling for what they are. They won't be spending 50M+ net every summer without the CL football, that's not sustainable.

it wasn't the fans i was cringing watching it was the players in the dressing room afterwards, celebrating with champagne :hysterics: , they'd basically qualified for a cup competition, celebrations like that are for the winners of it

thats what clubs bring in high paid directors etc to do, look at united weve recently brought in a sponsor just for our training kit, weve also got various different sponsors for an array of things, if the spurs commercial team don't/can't bring in revenue from opportunities like this they are not doing their high paid jobs

also to build a team doesn't always needs massive man city/chelsea style investment, it needs a good scouting system searching the continents for the next messi/ronaldo etc, newcastle have done very well in the market bringing in players reletively cheaply which see's them on the brink of cl football in just 2 seasons after promotion, i'm sure if the likes of tiote, cisse, ba, & cabaye were to be sold by newcastle now they'd bring in massive fees for them like they did for carroll

i'd agree giving the fa cup winner a cl spot would really reinvent the cup, and i'm sure more clubs would field stronger teams earlier

You think United would be getting half the sponsors they do if they weren't in the CL?

Hmm there's a bit of shit and he talks like a wanker as though it's a crime for Wayne Bridge to score wtf?! Good points overall, Juventus certainly aren't the best Serie 'A' side in the last 20 years and being "Invincible" doesn't really matter to most sane people compared to points.

I listened to it on the last day of the season, I had Newcastle on one stream, City on the other and Talksport telling me all the other scores. Class set up.

Fair enough actually, listening to it for commentary on matches is perfectly acceptable.

Durham and Quinny are a pair of clowns. Ones a controversialist with no idea about football, the other an imbecile with no idea about football.
