![]() Even in the worst of times you'll never seen RM too downcast or with any hint of negativity he's the type of person who believes the glass is half full rather than half empty despite much criticism he continues to stick with his philosophy and principles which is extremely admirable. Despite the fact Wigan are the smallest club in terms of history, reputation, fanbase, commerically and economically they have now been in the PL for 7 years(8seasons) on the bounce and if they survive again this season against all the odds then that would just be something remarkable and should that happen Roberto Martinez will without a shadow of a doubt be in the reckoning for manager of the season. There's not one club in the Premierleague who haven't suffered at the hands of Wigan and although they may not be everyone's cup of tea(including mine) you have to respect and admire what this club from a small predominantly rugby town is achieving I will never forget Wigan's first match in the PL against Jose Mourinho's all conquering Chelsea side they were sensational and no matter what happens at the end of the season they have my greatest respect for everything this club has managed to achieve not only in the past 7 years but for the last 3-4 decades even. "My penis is like Wigan Athletic. Many people laugh at it but it always manages to stay up." |

He was meant to have signed a new contract last summer, he never actally did and he is a free agent in the summer so if he keeps them up I can see him possibly going to Villa or Spurs (if Harry leaves) he is a good manager and a top bloke |

He publicly rejected Villa last summer so I'd count them out. He'd probably attract a top half club these days. Liverpool might be tempted tbh. |

I'd like to see him at Liverpool. Such a good manager and a lovely man. Nice one Bobby.

I've re-thought about him a bit, I like him a lot but I'm not sure he's as good as I thought. Like you said they were bottom at Christmas. |

7 wins in his last 9 lol. If they keep up the improvement and play that well all next season they could be fighting for the top 4 lol. |

I expect him to leave wigan this summer, he was pretty tempted last summer and his stock is higher now. The likes of villa and everton might be sniffing around if they are making changes we are being linked aswell |

Yeah I hope he lands himself a job where he can think about a project that doesn't involve the fear of relegation every season. |
