I know he's a really easy target and the butt of all jokes, but he genuinely is a bad player. How does he get games at Liverpool? I don't see what he offers...the occasional flick on, a goal every two months, playing the simple of simple balls every time he can.

His movement is absolutely abysmal. He basically hangs on the shoulder of defenders and tries to win floated balls...he makes no diagonal runs, he never drops off, never makes near post runs. He plays exactly the same position as RVP and the difference in movement (amongst pretty much everything else) is embarrassing. Anyone can move though, so there's really no excuse.

Was he this bad at Newcastle? I've watched so many Liverpool games this season and it's amazing how this bloke gets picked at all. An impact sub in the 80th minute at best.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Best player overall lmaooo wtf...

I do feel sorry for him as he does try hard but his persistent abuse to referees when they give fouls against him makes me sick. Never seen anyone moan so much.

In short, he is a massive detriment. He'd even struggle to make an impact at Stoke.

He could have had a tap in when Suarez gambled and won it high up, lad was running back towards his own half lmfao.

I made a thread elswhere ages ago about him. Basically I am convinced he was not trained as a striker. He was a defender. He has absolutely no concept of what it takes to be a striker. He doesnt have the basic traits that strikers like Kenny Miller, Boyd would even have. He constantly holds onto defenders. He doesnt realise that he is meant to be goalside of the player marking him and he has no interest in getting goalside. He simply does not make that near dart to the near post. Perfect example being Ballotelli for the first goal yesterday. He is ALWAYS on his heels in the box

Another example today. When suarez nicked the ball and had a shot. Carroll is on the edge. Suarez is at a tight angle so all he can do is either cut it back or whack it at the gk and hope for a rebound. How Andy does not realise that he should be making a late dart into the penalty area there really does amaze me
