He should be at a better club but ah well, he obviously has reservations about going to Italy, especially at this stage in his career and the current climate of Italian football. Glad I'll get to see him play more regularly and at a side that will play to his strengths.

Fiorentina want Berbatov to pay for airline tickets after transfer snub

The Italian club have stated their intention to pursue the Bulgarian striker for funds to cover the travel expenses outlaid for him during their chase to sign him in the summer

Lmaooo, a club that don't want to play the travel expenses is not a club worthy of Dimitar Berbatov. Even if he did play them, it's not as if it would make a difference to his financial position. Be like throwing a deckchair off the titanic.

When I think about it I know a fair few people who've been headhunted by big firms that have paid for their flights to see if they like the place. If I was in their position I think it'd be massively out of order if some wanker goes "and if you don't sign the contract in front of you you're paying for the flights to get back". Absolutely pathetic.

Winner.

Lol yeah, the statement the released was actually quite amusing, but now they are starting to make a show of themselves.
