I know the name of the competition was changed, so it was technically Inter's first CL, but Moe clearly didn't mean it that way. Uninformed.

Decent attempt, but you're not weaseling your way out of that. Only rats like Scholes and Cule are capable of such escapes.

Actually its probably the one before showing Mourinho clearly has had challenges.

Moe chatting shit, as per. Who says "Ferguson winning United's first CL" or "Benitez winning Liverpool's first CL". It's "Ferguson winning United first European title/cup since...", "Mourinho winning Inter's first European title since...".

I emphasised my point with "true, true challenges". To be truly challenged is to oversee the development of 2 teams at one club, to resolve internal conflict, to be able to perform under pressure from the fans and interference from the board, to go toe-to-toe for decades with the likes of Wenger/Mourinho/Benitez, to remain standing when other clubs rise and fall etc etc.

Winning titles are challenges but that's what precisely separates a coach from a manager.

The fuck are you on about Dag? I know Moe is a liability at times but you're barking up the wrong tree. It was a general comment about Inter winning the CL for the first time, the first time in an era where much more was expected of them than what they'd produced. Ass kissing Scholes in the majority of your posts is one thing but you cannot try to be him, not sharp enough. Embarrassing display.

I think Mourinho will, at some stage, have a fairly long tenure at a club giving him the opportunity to accomplish those things. It's unfair to use it against him, and pointless really, a bit like criticising Fergie for not winning titles in Spain or Italy, or Guardiola for not winning anything without some of the greatest ever players at his disposal.

He will take on these challenges in good time. But in the meantime Mourinho has challenged himself in various leagues with different footballing cultures and regardless of whatever criticism he may get for his style, he has prospered absolutely everywhere despite the fact that he's worked in arguably the three most difficult jobs in club football, jobs where not many leave with their heads held high.

The lads on Revista are adamant that Jose is leaving Real Madrid in the summer. Graham Hunter said his next destination is likely to be Chelsea or PSG, not sure why he didn't mention City, and I'm not sure why Chelsea are being mentioned because I'm sure Chelsea have previously stated that he won't be returning.

Jose to PSG, Ancelotti to Madrid. City stay with Mancini.

Pellegrini seems a cert for Chelsea too. I love Mancini but I think I'd be gutted if he stayed this summer and Mourinho didn't join. Can't endure another season of this toothless shit.
