It's like Hazard playing for Lille. Everyone knew he was class, special, but we all wanted to know if he could do it at the very top level and compete for the biggest prizes. |

Most of the goals Neymar has scored in Brazil have been helped by some awful defending |

Lol. And the goals for Brazil? Same for that? What about the shit defending in La Liga, do half of Messi's goals not count? You're talking nonsense. |

Lmao you cannot compare the defending in La Liga to the defending in Brazil. Nothing so far suggests he'll turn out much better than Robinho. |

Lol you clearly haven't watched him or analysed his game then, he's fucking insane, the majority of his quality goals can only be attributed to world class ability. |

STFU he's light-years ahead of where Robinho was when he was playing for Santos. |

You have to be tested at the highest level before you can be called one of the best, that's true in any sport. Don't understand how anybody could put him above somebody like Xavi, who's been dominating world-class teams for years.

FUCKING LOOK AT THAT I DON'T CARE IF THAT'S KOMPANY AND T.SILVA WITH BUSQUETS IN FRONT OF THEM HE'S SCORING THAT WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT THAT'S OUTRAGEOUS THAT IS TECHNICALLY OUT OF THIS WORLD AND WHAT'S SCARY IS THAT THAT GOAL IS JUST THE BEGINNING IT'S ONE TINY PIECE OF MAGIC FROM A WHOLE CATALOGUE. BUT HE'S NOT JUST A HIGHLIGHTS PLAYER HE'S SOMEONE THAT WILL CONTRIBUTE THROUGHOUT A GAME AND PLAYS THE SIMPLE, CORRECT PASS AS OFTEN AS ANYBODY. |

Can't agree about that goal. I think Silva would have done a lot better, but he is undeniably one of the Top 10 for me. |

You're right about the technical ability bit though, the skill to beat the last man is like nothing I have seen for a long long time. |

Only Messi and Iniesta are capable of beating those first two men, but then unreal acceleration to burst away, then the vision and intelligence to play the ball through two players to the striker knowing he'll get it back, he bounces off the defender who tries to block him, receives the return pass at pace and controls perfectly, despite getting dragged all over the place, squares up a defender with his frightening pace, beats him with a piece of skill I don't think I've ever seen before, then bravely dives in to finish the ball well. There isn't another player in the world who could have scored that goal, not one, not Messi, not Ronaldo. His dribbling technique is something special, he's made of rubber, his turn of pace, flexibility, imagination and change of direction is sublime, so rare to see all these attributes in one single player. |
