Lol tbh Diego he's better than any of your current CMs and still better than most of your wingers.

Lol yeah I was going to say fake, unless he has already held talks with united. Is nasri primarily a winger? If so then I really don't get what we are doing atm. If young and nasri join we will have 9/10 wingers (giggs), and we have lost/ losing 3 cms. If we needed to strengthen that area before lol we are now down to carrick, fletcher, Anderson and giggs. Fuck me.

Young and Nasri are both more creative in a central role than anything you currently have, except maybe Rooney when he plays in the support/AM role. Nasri would definitely boost your central midfield ability wise, but Ferguson would have a lot of work to do when it comes to his attitude.

SAMIR NASRI IS STAYING AT ARSENAL

“There is not much to say apart from don’t listen to all the rumours and everything that is written or said,” Nasri told the club’s magazine.

“Earlier in the season I spoke with the boss and we said we would talk during the summer, which is what we are going to do.

“At some point, we so want to win our desire is so big that we rush things and make mistakes.

“But it is not because we are scared, but because we want to win so badly and we don’t think enough,” he added.

“As a team, we all realise now what we need to do to win a trophy. We had everything to be champions, but if you look at it, every time we played to go top of the league, we never did.

“In terms of talent, I feel we had the best squad of the whole league. We played the best football. We were the best team, even if Manchester United had a good season too.

“We have improved so much. If the boss adds some good players, I really believe a trophy will be won.”

Nasri: I need to win trophies
Samir Nasri says his refusal to sign a new contract at Arsenal is motivated by a desire to win trophies, and not just to enrich himself.
Nasri has reportedly informed Arsenal that he will not sign a new deal, and with his current contract lasting only 12 more months it is thought the France international will be sold this summer.

Manchester City are believed to be closing in on the signing of the midfielder, who says Arsenal's continuing failure to win silverware forced him to consider his future.

Nasri told the News of the World: "Money has never been my motivation. I have always taken decisions from a football point of view. I don't want to sign for a club where I wouldn't be playing the football that I like, where I wouldn't feel happy, just for the sake of money.

"We already earn huge wages. The priority is to make a big career and to win titles. This is more important than everything else. I know the value and the meaning of money.

"You have to be able to evolve with a new way of living, keeping respect to my values. Family, friends, a good agent, it all helps you not to get carried away.

"With no titles under your belt, you can't be in the list for the Ballon D'Or. I came to England to get trophies because I haven't won anything in my career, apart from an U17 European Championship in 2004.

"We all need to get out of our comfort zone, to grow up and test ourselves. Even without winning trophies, I think I have grown up.

"I am hungry for titles. I play football because I love this sport and want to feel the emotion of winning. Lifting a trophy all together, this is the beauty and sense of team sports."

Manchester City reach agreement with Arsenal over £22m deal for Samir Nasri - report

The French midfielder, who has been heavily linked with a move to Eastlands, could be set to leave the Gunners this summer, earning a contract worth over £100,000 a week

Manchester City have moved a step closer in their attempts to sign Samir Nasri after agreeing terms with Arsenal for the French midfielder, according to reports.

Sky Sport Italia claims Nasri is set to join Roberto Mancini's side for a fee of €25 million [£22.2m], with the player believed to have been offered a contract worth €6m [£5.3m] a year - over £100,000 a week.

The 2010-11 season was Nasri's most impressive since arriving in England in 2008 and he has been a wanted man ever since, with Manchester United and Chelsea also credited with an interest in the player.

The Frenchman has made 124 appearances in three seasons for Arsenal, scoring 27 times but it appears his stay at the Emirates Stadium is coming to an end.

City have identified Nasri as a summer target to add creativity to their midfield as they prepare for their debut season in the Champions League.

The Eastlands club have already secured the signing of defender Gael Clichy from the Gunners, while they added to that purchase with the acquisition of talented Montenegro international Stefan Savic this week.

City are yet to confirm or deny that a deal is in place to sign Nasri as the summer's biggest transfer saga takes a fresh turn.

Don't believe anything to do with Arsenal mate, until you see him gorging on Clichy's cock on your fancy little plane it's all hearsay.

That article says 100k. We'll pass it with flying colours though. 40m a year for the stadium covers so many of our expenses.
