Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that discussions with Samir Nasri over a new contract extension have slowed down due to a ‘little’ disagreement over the financial terms offered to the 23-year-old.

Nasri has just one year remaining on his Gunners contract and while talks have stalled recently, the possibility of a move to Old Trafford has been reported in the French media since last week.

Speaking with France legend Bixente Lizarazu for radio station RTL, Wenger said despite problems over the terms of Nasri’s new contract, he is still confident of sorting out a new deal.

“We’ve got a little financial disagreement but I’ll try to make him [Nasri] sign a new contract. I’ll work on that this summer. What is certain is that we won’t be selling Nasri to Manchester United.”

This is the kind of stuff Wenger starts saying before he sells a player. Lots of Arsenal fans think Nasri could be off this summer, including Dag I think. Rumour has it Nasri wants 110kpw which is the same as Cesc, but he's only being offered 90k which is the max Arsenal will spend.

What like we did with Chelsea with Ashley Cole. You gotta realise Wenger's fucked.

If he wants 110k then we're right to tell the gimp to fuck off. It would be amazing if he signed for United, the more frogs they have in their ranks the more things will start to go tits up for them.

he isn't worth the same money as cesc, not by a long shot
he was good for the first half of the season, but hasn't shown the performance level or consistency in his time at the club as fabregas has.

if they give us a decent wedge for him he can go as far as i'm concerned

Winner.

LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NASRI ISN'T SIGNING A NEW CONTRACT AND IS OPEN TO A MOVE TO MAN UTD HAHAHAHA OMG WHAT A DISGRACE THIS KID IS

Contract rebel Samir Nasri has stunned Arsenal by refusing to rule out a sensational summer move to Barclays Premier League champions Manchester United.

The saga surrounding the France international's failure to pen a new deal with the Gunners has been rumbling for months and now Nasri has hinted he could swap the Emirates for Old Trafford after United star Patrice Evra said his compatriot should join him.

Nasri, 23, is out of contract next summer and Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will be keen to cash in before he left on a free transfer, but the midfielder wants to know if United's interest has any credibility.

He told French broadcasters TF1’s Telefoot: 'Do I want to go to Man United? Initially, we should see if it's real and if it is concrete.'

He is one of my favourite players and he is class but if we can rip United off and buy Hazard and someone else then i'd let him go becuase his best form has come when he is in the middle and either he or Cesc will be going this summer and id rather it was him.

I think its come when Cesc has been missing and he's been in the center. Either way as soon as Cesc is back in the side he seems to be a different player imo. Doesn't play as well as normal. It would be a fantastic buy for United as he'd play CM there imo but I think we could be better off being forced to buy a wide player who hopefully will try to take players on more and will stretch sides.

What kind of Arsenal fan's are logging on here? Sell to United? This is fucking crazy talk. Do you honestly think that idiot pretending to be our clubs manager is capable of finding a better replacement?

If it improves us why the fuck should we not sell?! Just cutting off your nose to spite your face. I also do think he can find a better replacement. He has stated his interest in Hazard for example, if he follows it up we could possibly be getting a better player depending on how he adapts to the league.
