Doesn't matter. At Arsenal the weaknesses in his being will be exposed and he will become a loser, trust me.
I think the serotonin levels are low.

I'm not on the WUM at all, I really think Wenger's methodology has finally ground to a complete halt just short of the finishing line, with no chance of finding a way to creep over it. His recent interviews have sickened me more than DaG's posting of animal cruelty videos, and have only helped confirm to me that it's all over for him. Comments like "nobody expected us to even challenge for the top four at the start of the season so we've already exceeded expectations" are enough to make me want to put a gun to my head, not before i've blown his brains out though of course. I mean, what is comment like that supposed to mean? Does it mean that he and the players only had these expectations too, or is it just another desperate excuse? Either way, words like this shouldn't be coming out of anyone with even an ounce of self respect's mouth.

Do you actually think he believes that rubbish? All managers talk shit in press conferences, some in different ways than others, but they all do it to try and take the pressure off of a team that isn't getting results.

Wenger doesn't like failing, no manager does. Dixon, Winterburn, Adams, etc have all said many times he wants to win more than anyone.

I don't doubt that he's desperate to win, but he's a loser so he can't win. And it's irrelevant whether he believed that comment or not, it was a very fucking sad thing to say.

So he used to be a winner and now he's a loser?

Well he's become more of a loser as time has gone on, but I don't think he was ever a full on winner. He got by on winners like Adams, Keown and Bergkamp already being there when he arrived. These players then made players like Vieira, Pires and Henry become winners, not Wenger. Sure they benefited from his coaching in terms of their playing style, but not in terms of their mentality.

No, using the evidence of what has happened in his time at the club.

So in the few years before Wenger arrive Adams and co were losers? But when the loser Wenger arrived they magically transformed back into winners and won things again?

You're not getting it. The defence Wenger inherited were always winners even if we'd struggled in the league a bit in the mid nineties. That was mainly down to a pretty poor midfield and a reliance on Wrighty to score all our goals. When Wenger came he inherited the winners at the back and used his strengths to sort the midfield out, and the attack to some degree although Bergkamp having recently joined helped him out there a lot from the get go. The combination of what we already had and what Wenger added is what brought us success, but now what was already there is gone, and the knock on effect they had with players like Campbell, Henry, Vieira, Pires etc. has faded away too, so all we're left with is Wenger's strengths, which don't encompass enough to win us anything. Hope this is clearer.

Wenger has also put together a completely different back 4 that won titles...
