Don't get me wrong here, he's been a great manager for us and I'll always defend the fact that he is one of the top coaches in the world, but at this point I feel more sick to the stomach than i've ever been with the pathetic efforts of recent weeks and the self pity that is oozing from every crevice of the club. At this point I'd rather take a massive risk and let him go along with any player who is at Arsenal for him and not the love of the club, even if it means we drop out of the top four. I'm done with the same old story, every season it's really fucking embarrassing to be an Arsenal fan around this time of the year. It's like they're purposely teasing us at this point with strong starts to the season and then anemic finishes, bulding our hopes up and then smashing them to the best of their abilities so everyone can have another fucking good old laugh at our expense. I'd really rather we just make the big change, and even if it makes us become a mid table team at least there will no longer be the pain and humiliation that we're put through at this stage of the season each year. I'd go as far as saying right now that the only established players I care about still being with us in the long run are Woj, Vermaelen, Sagna, Wilshere, Walcott and RVP. Although there's others like Nasri and Cesc that have their moments of brilliance that make you love them, they're just not warriors and don't have the passion that we so desperately need right now to take that extra step. The same goes for every other player in our squad whose name I haven't mentioned, and Wenger as well. Sure they can keep us in the CL year in year out and run a nice steady ship, but just doing that without ever having the hope of winning anything is quite frankly tiresome. Maybe not to Wenger and the board, but to the fans definitely. Thanks for all you've done for us, now fuck off i'm done with you.

At this point in time we can't do better than Wenger, and the board value him too much for change to take place. Wenger will leave on his terms and its time for the fans to accept that and hope for improvement. We have definitely seen improvement in the last 3 seasons, just hasn't been enough. Hopefully this summer we can get over the last hurdle, but I won't hold my breath.

The big positive is that our academy is absolutely stacked and we are beginning to bear the fruits of our labor. Wilshere, Szczesney, and Gibbs are only the beginning. Jebb who recently destroyed the U16 Victory Shield is meant to be better than Wilshere and he's one of many at that age. Wenger will leave when that next generation are close to coming through AND the debts are almost paid off. He'll leave the new manager with a a group of very good players going into their peaks (Walcott, Wilshere, Ramsey, etc), a stocked academy, and significant transfer funds. It actually seems like we are copying the Barca system of supplementing the home grown players with foreign imports. Until then I don't expect to see us spending big or changing managers. Even still, we aren't far off from winning the league...

I'm only on this planet for a certain amount of years mate, I'm done with waiting. I don't even think we have improved in recent seasons, I always think we have until Feb/March comes when it becomes clear we're actually just spinning our wheels. Our youngsters don't inspire me with the same confidence they do you either, Wilshere and Woj aside. These two have displayed the desire and character of winners, none of the rest have as of yet. Sure Gibbs, Ramsey and some of the teenagers who haven't broken through yet may have a lot of talent, but unless they're warriors on the pitch as well they aren't going to aid our cause. Ramsey and Gibbs have both had big injury problems that i'm concerned have left scars which they're never going to recover from, so until i'm proven otherwise I'm not putting too much faith in them. Same with all the other youngsters who haven't broken through yet, no faith until they prove they're willing to offer sweat, blood and tears for the club. They can skin 5 players, play pretty passes and one touch football all they like, but if they aren't winners at heart they don't interest me anymore.

Gibbs hasn't had any major injuries, he's just done a metatarsal and had many niggles. He needs to hit the weight room and get a run of games. A loan to Bolton wouldn't be a bad idea.

I don't think he's a winner, I think he's spent nights laying in bed crying over his misfortunes at all the constant niggles and being left out for floaty cross Clichy. I did think we'd found the next Cashley but not anymore.

Yeah we're rife with losers. For most of them it's not their fault, Wenger's made them this way, but now the damage has been done we have no choice but to show them the door.

Trig's right, Arsenal is full of losers. They need a winner in the mould of Mourinho to instil a winning attitude.

i think the issue isnt with the players abilities anymore, but more with the mentality, which is dictated by the manager.

if we have a bad result, its down to the referee, or other teams tackling hard... it feels like we have bred a mindset that its ok to lose and not win because we play football the right way.

we seem to lack that mental cutting edge, and i think its down partly to wenger defending these players too much and finding excuses for them whenever they fuck up

maybe the hair dryer treatment needs to be used.

i just don't know where else he can take the team now, we are not far from winning the title granted, but if we don't win it this year, we need to bring in leaders, proven quality leaders, but i know that won't happen.

i think his methods and the mindset of the club at the moment means that if we don't go on to win it this season, we won't for a while... that said i still hold hope that we can snatch it this seasons

Someone has posted on elsewhere that there are talks of Guardiola to Arsenal with Wenger moving upstairs.

Can't see that. If Wenger leaves I could never imagine him above a new manager having some control over the first team. Maybe he'll do some work with the academy or something like that, but when he does leave Arsenal I see him doing a different job or retiring all together.

Pep did say he thinks next season will be his last at Barcelona.

The talent is there, no question, it's ALL mentality. And without that you can have all the talent in the world and still never ever ever ever win anything. You'll come close all the time, as we do, but you won't ever go that extra step. Only the players I listed have always shown strength of character in the fact od adversity, the rest have all shown weakness multiple times so goodbye to them because it's too late for them now. If we did get in a manager who lays the law down these players would run for the hills anyway, so there's no point in keeping them for post-Wenger times because they won't change at that point, they'll run away.

I'm more than happy now to sacrifice some talent in any player we look to sign, if they have the heart of a warrior. Eden Hazard for example is the lind of player we should steer clear of from now on, or at least while Wenger is still around. He's clearly a very talented kid who most teams would love to have, but an absolute prime candidate to become a big time loser if he pulls on an Arsenal shirt. Belgium's manager has reported that he can be lazy in training on international duty, that's enough for me to know that he's not going to bring anything to us in terms of helping us to become winners. So fuck him off.

When Wenger leaves his current role he should sever all ties with the club.

Hazard is an exceptional player and we should do everything we can to sign him. Loads of top class players are known to be quite lazy in training. Thierry Henry is one of them. You are over emphasizing the mental aspects and not putting enough emphasis on quality. These are professional fucking footballers.
