Anyone think it's possible? Currently 16/1 at Skybet...

Winner.

God we're such a big team, the Treble is so often still on around late March/early April at this massive club; imagine if Arsenal could ever say the same.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

We're facing this situation nearly every season since 2006/07. The FA Cup semi will be a massive game but if we can win that we've got to fancy our chances there. Winning the league is still gonna very tough but it's only Utd and Arsenal in it.

The CL is the tough one, we could end up drawing Barca next round but if we can avoid them until the final, hoping they get knocked out of course, then we've got a good chance. Our awa form hasn't been good but if we can get all our players back then we're gonna be a force at home so I'd still fancy our chances.

I'm sure we'll slip up somewhere though, can't imagine this side succeeding where all our teams from 2006 onwards have failed.

Its obviously possible but they won't do it if they don't meet Barcelona before the C/L final as in a one off game Barcelona would kill them imo. They'd stand a good chance over two legs though. Either way Barcelona would win it though imo.

FA Cup Semi's obviously won't be easy either.

Read that contradictory post again please....

We've got more chance in a one-off game anyway so your post was along the right tracks at the start.

No you don't. Barcelona are poor away in the C/L if you can winyour home game and defend for your life at the Nou Camp you have a good chance. In a one off game against them you're fucked.

Nah, far more chance in a one off game I'm afraid, they'd still absolutely dominate at OT.

16/1 is ridiculously shit odds. I don't think we've got any realistic chance.

An honourable team would want to meet Barca to prove their credentials... not hide in the shadows shaking with fear until they're gone, like an abused child.

At home, I'd fancy United's chances against Barca. 40 from 42 points this season whilst conceding only nine is fucking immense. Of course Barca is a different cup of chai, but it just seems that United's strength at home this season is too good for the match to result in a loss for them.

Lol, look at the way you've worded that....you don't support Man United do you?

Wtf is this, Karate kid? Who gives a fuck about being honourable, thought you Gooners would have learnt now after "bowing" down to Barca in the last 2 campaigns.

There's shorter odds for Liverpool to finish in the top four  Neither of them is happening.

Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship - and we will - success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once.
