I wouldnt claim that Pep was one of the best until he manages another team. I could win the league with the Barca team. If he goes to another team and does the same there as he has at Barca then you wont be able to doubt the guy.
This.

That's especially the case for Guardiola. He's spent his entire footballing career with Barca, knows exactly what the club is about, the style, having played in the Dream Team in the 90's and coaching the youth sides with many of the players he works with now. He's pretty much a manager who has come through the youth system, as if producing incredible players wasn't enough for Barca.

I don't doubt his quality as manager. Regardless of the quality he has at his disposal, he has them playing incredible stuff, they've raised the bar so high, to the point where teams are trying to make themselves the second best side in Europe, not even daring to be the best. Even Fergie has admitted this, something he wouldn't find easy to say..

Would you say Messi has to prove himself at another club, like Ronaldo has done, to be considered the best player in the world?

Mourinho better tactically lol, Pep has destroyed the lad every time they've played. Jose absolutely bamboozled at the Bernabeu this season, couldn't cope with the changes in formation. All he had his side do was get the ball to Ronaldo or Di Maria and have them sprint towards the goal line, you call this tactics?

It only seems like yesterday that Pep took charge of Barca, and already he's won the league 3 times in a row, 2 CLs, and now 2 CWCs. Absolutely unreal record and they are favorites for La Liga and the CL this season. Anyone who questions Pep at this point is simply jealous of the football Barca play. The 'Mourinho would do just as well with that squad' argument holds absolutely no water at all. When has Mourinho ever shown that he can be successful at one club for more than 2 years? Its not like he was ever considered for the Barca job anyway.

Guardiola continues to push the boundaries tactically and he has introduced something different in each season he's been at Barca whilst maintaining the same brand of football and winning everything. Will be very interesting to see what else he can do with the formation and personnel. Can he get rid of traditional defenders and forwards entirely? The next challenge for Pep is to create a new squad as the likes of Puyol and Xavi get closer to retirement. They are set up well for the future though, Messi, Iniesta, Cesc, Busquets, and Thiago are still very young and their academy is absolutely stocked.

Interesting. Fergie has pretty much been a one club man in terms of his major honours, and he's considered the best ever so far. Pep could do the same, but I don't think he'll want to, he'll move on eventually, and that will be very interesting to see.

Guardiola has owned him tactically every time they've played since Jose took over in Madrid.

I wouldn't say he owned him tactically in the 2-2 game.

Good point actually. That was the best Madrid ever played against this Barca. But the previous leg, all the league matches, the super cup, the CL, owned to shit and many mistakes from Jose.

Owned by the ref, not Pep.
