Cabaye & Ba- 5.3M
 Amazing scouting team. Tioté was only 4.5m aswell. The fans hate him but Mike Ashley really is a massive winner :hysterics:

Winner.

This has to be one of the best but yet one of the worst posts I've ever made

Always believed Luis Suarez would become a huge success

He's been a good signing but huge success? Not only is he very wasteful in front of goal, he's caused nothing but problems for Liverpool.

I must admit his goal scoring record is massively disapointing but its only being highlighted even more because of the fact Liverpool dont have another striking outlet that will get them 20+ a season. Suarez is the inspiration he doesnt need to score to have a good game and imo only Messi and perhaps Ribery have quicker feet he can mesmerize even the greatest. Don't worry though Darren Bent is on his way

KENNY DALGLISH has told Manchester City to put up or shut up.
Liverpool have denied City claims that the Merseysiders wanted to swap Andy Carroll for Carlos Tevez.

Dalglish refuses to comment on the speculation while £35million striker Carroll himself is determined to prove he can become a Kop hero.

Yet manager Dalglish took a swipe at City. He said: "We're not going to get involved in justifying what people are saying. Get them to justify it, not us.

"We're not talking about any specific incident, but if you are going to do business in any way shape or form, you don't need to disclose it until it's done.

"As (chairman) Tom Werner said, there's no point letting the facts get in the way of a good story, when he was talking about Stewart Downing being bought from a clip off YouTube. Do us a favour."

KENNY DALGLISH reckons if his Liverpool side taste cup final glory on Sunday it will feel extra special.

The man who won 13 times at the old Wembley as a player feels that beating Cardiff would mean more now because of where the Reds have fought back from, given their off-field fiascos of the past two years.

He insisted: "Wembley is special for anyone who goes there — and for ourselves it was a place we visited pretty regularly.

"Everybody at the club is trying to get a bit closer to those days."

Should Liverpool lift a record-extending eighth League Cup, Dalglish certainly will not be resting on his laurels.

He added: "We hope to keep progressing. This is only the start of what we can achieve."

We really do have a fantastic chance to bag this cup this week and to really push on and win the FA cup. It would be a decent season for us if we won a cup and got back into europe. If we are in the europa cup next year we can blood some young players. I cant see us finishing top 4 now

KENNY DALGLISH has had a dig at clubs who fielded weak teams in the Carling Cup, saying: "They'll all be jealous seeing us at Wembley."

The Liverpool boss heads into tomorrow's showdown with Cardiff aiming to become the first man to win every domestic trophy as player AND manager.

And Dalglish said: "What anybody else has done is their concern, they might have had different priorities.

"But there are two teams thinking this tournament is fantastic and that's ourselves and Cardiff.

"I'm sure there will be a lot of other clubs wishing they had done it differently when they see the teams walking out.

"Finishing fourth is more important than it was. Maybe that's why people think staying in the Premier League is more important than going to Wembley. But that's their prerogative."
