His move has been overshadowed a little with the deadline day shenanigans, what's your thoughts on his move? Will he be an instant hit? Take time to adjust? Or flop completely? Where do you see him lining up? Will his antics get him in a lot of trouble? Good business by Liverpool?

I don't think he was overshadowed, he's still going to be the main man around Liverpool for a while. I think he'll probably do ok in the league, but not well enough to justify a big £23m price tag, kind of a Kuyt type signing. He has the typical Eredivisie credentials, goals by the bucketload, but we all know it's a totally different scenario once they get to the PL, and I can't see a man of Suarez's ability ever being a huge hit like Torres was.

I don't know how Liverpool will line up with their two new strikers, he has played wide at Ajax before so he's definitely capable of playing LW or RW in a 4231 for instance, it depends how Liverpool want to approach their new system. After all, they've just purchased a £35m beanpole, you don't buy the world's most expensive beanpole and not grow any beans, so I think Liverpool will be hitting long and hoping a lot this season which essentialy takes Suarez out of the game.

On the whole, a flop of a signing. Not a bad player, he's technically sound and a good finisher, but I don't think he's of the required ability to establish himself as one of the league's best.

We've been playing 433 under Kenny so don't think that will change. And in theory Carrol should occupy the cbs, allowing Suarez to make his trademark diagonal runs in behind. From what I've seen of him though, it looks like every goal he scores comes against a high defensive line. Can't help thinking he'll be shit against deep defences.

I really hope he succeeds but haven't seen enough of him to comment, I thought he looked sharp in the world cup and works well provided he gels with his strike partner, a lot will depend on his relationship with Carroll but I really think Liverpool look far stronger now than they did on 30th Jan.

Winner.

Sorry, just watching Egyptians stone each other to death.

Suarez will be a good signing, I see him getting 15/20 goals a season but it depends where he is played. If he is stuck on the wings he will be a flop, but if you play him behind Carroll or as a CF he will do very well.

I don't think he can play behind the striker, not seen anything to suggest he can.
