Barcelona
Chelsea
Man United
Real Madrid
Arsenal
Inter
:laughcry: Lad can't bring himself to include City so would rather just name 6.
To be fair to Scholes there aren't many other teams worth naming after those 6.

Winner.

To be honest I think cule summed up the situation perfectly when he separated real and barca from the rest. a couple of weeks ago I'd have included Chelsea with them as well, but now they have been proven to be unconvincing. United have been living on mentality alone for a while now. Arsenal have had some shocking results at home. Inter as I've already said are rapidly declining with Benitez at the helm.

Barca and Real are in another league (quite literally, this is also significant).

The thread title though is best 10 teams in the world atm, even if 8 of them happen to be average by such standards.

There's a gap between Barca and the rest but not Real, they still need to show they can actually get past the last 16 of the CL before you put them alongisde Barca

Why would he include City onto that list though?

Besides inheriting unlimited funds, what the fuck else have they done recently?

Love how most people have replaced us with City after one bad season

What have they done? Please, some explain.

Arsenal might be better than Inter and Bayern, but if you think that your lot is better than ours, then you're off your rocker...

Still unbeaten in the league, and we took care of Newcastle at home comfortably..

I don't care about unbeaten. We have more points, a proper record away from home, more goals scored, and less conceded.

We've beaten both City and Everton away from home, playing both when in better form than when United did.

you're leading us by 1 point..That isn't anything too drastic to brag about. Also, If you want to chat about goals scored, we are both level at 26 GS..

Who is bragging? I simply said that RIGHT NOW we are better. Table doesn't lie.

As for the goals scored bit, the CL is included...

Inter are fucking awful atm. Embarrassed by Tottenham, struggling to break down teams like Lecce, lost the Milan Derby. What did I say about Benitez?
He's an idiot for taking the job.
Scholes

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Que? He's making a shit load of cash, living in one of the best cities, working at a massive club with some of the best players around. Best part is that if he gets sacked he'll still get paid. And if he does get sacked he's still a big enough name in football to get a pretty good job elsewhere.
