Arshavin has the most assists in the league and has created more chances than anyone in the CL.

Also, Song's size counts for nothing. He doesn't sit back and do the dirty work and Denilson is actually better in the air.

Dag your opinions are based entirely on stats, they do matter but please form an opinion through understanding and experience of the game. It comes across as knowledgeable but it's seriously not, copy and pasting from opta is an embarrassment and quite frankly you should be ashamed.
"You would have to say honestly, no. But I have to tell you, when I walked through the door, more than any other player, he grabbed me - and he grabbed me within two training sessions. I asked, 'Who's that?'.

I don't really care about his assist stats, he's a throw enough shit at the wall and some will stick kind of player. It's as clear as day that Nasri is better in every aspect of his game, except maybe finishing, but personally i'd rate him slightly better on that front too.

Nasri isn't as direct, nor does he test the keeper as often as Arshavin. Nasri will be first choice for the time being as Walcott is only coming back to fitness.

Oh, and Nasri has always been cak from the left.

I actually think that the best front two we have, as a partnership, is Berbatov and Hernandez but you can't really leave out Rooney.

He doesn't appear to be now, and what's your obsession with being direct all the fucking time? Nasri chooses the right moments to be direct, if nothing is on then he will keep the ball while dragging defenders towards him, thus opening things up for others, and then play the correct pass. Arshavin constantly runs into walls of defenders, either getting tackled in the process, or playing a shit pass to nobody at last second before he gets tackled. And even when he does decide to keep it simple he often plays a complete hospital pass, either losing possession full stop, or leaving the reciever having to risk a foul in an attempt to keep possession. He's a mare mate!

Obsession with being direct? I'm not completely sure where it comes from mate, I think it might be wanting forwards to score goals so that we can win games, I'm not completely sure though, I'll get back to you on that.

As for Nasri, his decision making is criminal, worse than Arshavin's most of the time. Nasri's idea of creativity is coming infield so that he can turn around and pass to Sagna. His lack of ideas is alarming. He's got some goals though so its tough to have a go at him but let's see if he can keep it up, this is the peak of his form at Arsenal.

Arshavin has supposedly been absolute shit this season (in reality this last 2 months has probably been his best for the club) but he's still racked up more shots in all comps than Nasri, more shots on target, more chances created, and more assists. Shava isn't in goal scoring form yet either, but he's still got a very respectable amount already. I'm far from an Arshavin fan, but he's definitely a better forward than Nasri at the moment.

Dag you talk some utter shite son, utter utter shite. Nasri has been better than Arshavin all season, in fact me and my granda were just saying how shit the latter is the other day.

BTW folks, Song had a month of 'form' last season and people were calling him the new Rijkaard. As usual, DaG knew how shit he actually was, and many Gooners are beginning to see it a year on. When you want to know about Arsenal, my posts are gospel.
