What happens to Balotelli when Rooney signs?
He is the best striker at the club. City would be retarded not to play him.

Based on what? He's a massive talent but he's not yet proven anything at City and has never been a consistent striker full stop. Nearly all of his games last season came as a wide player.

I am basing it on potiental more than anything tbh lol. He is not that far off them though in terms of how they currently play and he could easily become a better striker than everyone there for me. Give him a 2/3 fully fit season and he will be the leagues best striker.

Will he get enough games? I suppose they could go 433 but then Johnson/Silva won't be getting the games they want. But they want to be winning everything so I guess the players will have to make sacrifices. Anyway, I'm out lads. Enjoy the matches.

Fergie gone at the end of the season maybe?
that was what i was thinking, but surely he wont leave the club in such disarray. he has said on numerous occasions that he wants the new manager to inherit a great team. however he now needs to invest millions and may think that a new manager should spend it on his targets i.e. create his own team, hence why gill couldnt give assurances on how the money will be spent (if any) since we dont know who the new manager is.

its a poor reason from rooney, he knows he is at a club that has been pushing for titles in the last 20 odd years. there are few clubs in the world that could boast such a record, and to say that he wants to leave because we lack ambition? there is much more to this story than meets the eye.

Silva hasn't been starting all the games now and Balotelli isn't even fit lol. I have no idea if he will get the games but City would be foolish to not let play him. Yep they will. Cya DaG

Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship - and we will - success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once.

Good post. Rolling says Rooney still respects Ferguson, but to be honest his actions and statement suggest that he does not trust SAF's judgement to build a team anymore, which is stunning disrespect for a man who has built more title winning sides than anyone else in history.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha amazing scenes, I like Rooney as a person and really admire his attitude, great to see someone giving Fergie the two fingers at last, what a hero :hysterics:
It's not great to see anyone giving anyone two fingers, so no.

His passion on the pitch is perhaps to be admired but as for admiring his attitude, well there are question marks over whether he's bright enough to form opinions and therefore even have an attitude, so no.

Like Rooney as a person? Never met him, don't have a clue about him except for what the media tells you. These are in the main tales of debauchery, so no.

All in all, just no.

What has happened to the lad recently? Why is it everything he types just sounds as wet as possible? Some of the things he's said I've genuinely cringed at, I swear it never used to be as bad as this...

Winner.
