You give me the impression that you're one of these people who is all for giving managers plenty of time. The knee-jerk sackings also annoy me but no manager should be given a season to deliver results; if you're seriously underachieving in your first few months you can't blame the board for implimenting change.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Wow, he showed a bit of class and some actual respect for the club there. Shame he couldn't do that when he was managing us.
Show some respect mate at least you could buy a win under his management.
Spot on. Spurs fans are such spoilt little brats.
The spoilt "fans" are the ones booing after three games in to a completely new era at Tottenham, not the ones who want a manager who shows some class and respect from time to time. To ask for your manager to show respect and not completely undermine the club, the chairman and the fans is probably the least you could do. The amount of times he contradicted not only himself but the chairman during the Modric saga pre-season was ludicrous and I've not even got to the England saga yet.

He said that four days before he was sacked, says it all really.

That would be the Spurs fans then...

Unaware of any fault of his in the Modric saga but I think wanting to manage your country is completely fair enough.

You know exactly what you were insinuating with your initial post. And it's the way he went about it in the media mate, really did undermine and disrespect the club on numerous occasions, I'm sure if you searched around for a bit you could find them all.

I wasn't insinuating anything lol, I'm just saying that Spurs are a small club that have massively overachieved recently. Getting into the CL has been a huge success and its pathetic to see you whingeing about the guy who got you there just because, having realised that the club wasn't going any further, he wanted to move on to bigger and better things.

Just have a look at this. And I've never once denied he did a lot for our club. It was time for him to move on, the club couldn't go forward with him at the helm regardless. Also I seem to remember Martin Jol finishing within two points of a CL place, he more than overachieved with the squad he had at his disposal and I still have the utmost respect for this man. Not once did he disrespect Tottenham or undermine the club in the media or otherwise, and thus I have nothing against him in the slightest.

Look at Redknapp's version of the story - especially the absolute drivel about the penalty - and then look at the actual events. Small wonder this berk "forgot" he was tax dodging.
