The police have made it very clear that he is an important witness to the incident and played the role of peacemaker and is unlikely to face any charges as a result. Jack has made it very clear he will co-operate fully with the police investigation.'

Read the article morons.

ENGLAND wonderkid Jack Wilshere was nicked at 3am after a young couple were battered outside a swanky nightclub.
A woman, 21, suffered a suspected broken arm when she was repeatedly punched and kicked to the ground.

Her boyfriend received facial injuries after being hit in the face.

Arsenal midfielder Wilshere - seen as the future of English football - went partying with three pals hours after playing as a sub in the 2-1 victory over Blackburn at the Emirates on Saturday.

A furious row that started in Amika in Kensington, Central London, spilt out on to the street.

The members-only club is a haunt of Prince Harry and his on-off girlfriend Chelsy Davy, Chelsea's Frank Lampard, rapper P Diddy and R&B superstars Usher and Kelly Rowland.

Whilshere and his pals, aged between 18 and 22, were held on suspicion of grievous bodily harm when police stopped a taxi leaving the scene.

Paramedics rushed the couple to hospital for treatment.

A police source said: "This was an ugly incident that left people in the area fearing for their safety.

"Whatever was said in the nightclub caused such offence, the two parties decided to carry on the row on the street.

"Most of it was alcohol-fuelled."

Ace Wilshere, of Hitchin, Herts, was taken to nearby Kensington Police Station to be questioned.

Police took his mugshot, fingerprints and a DNA sample before he was put in a cell.

The former Luton Town youth footballer is seen as one of the greatest English talents to emerge for many years.

He joined the Arsenal Academy in 2001 aged nine. By 14, he was representing England Under 16s.

Two years later, he became the Gunners's youngest ever player at the age of 16 years and 256 days. He first played in the Champions League at 17.

And earlier this month Fabio Capello gave him his first England cap for the friendly against Hungary.

Detectives are scouring CCTV of the incident and its aftermath. They do not know if Wilshere took part in the attack or was just with the crowd.

Scotland Yard said: "We can confirm police were called at 2.45am following reports of an assault on Kensington High Street.

"Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and discovered a man and woman suffering injuries.

"They were taken to hospital. The woman suffered a suspected broken arm. The man had a minor facial injury.

"Officers subsequently stopped a vehicle and arrested four men, two 18-year-olds and two 21-year-olds, on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

"All are currently in custody at West London police stations."

Still not definite that he was involved.
"3-0, easy win. I'll quit the forum if we lose, we're not Arsenal mate we sort our business." Ant on the FA Cup final 15/4/2013

You don't get placed under arrest and then released on bail if you did nothing..

Why was he released on bail then? If he didn't do anything he would just have been released full stop.

Guess machine in full flow.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart
