Just so you know, I've only seen these games:

Arsenal - Blackpool
Wigan - Chelsea
Fulham - United
City - Liverpool

...I've done the rest on what highlights I've seen and what I've read/heard, so I appreciate that this will have a bias towards the star performers from the above four games. Feel free to inform me of any glaring omissions from the weekend's other ties. I've tried to keep each selection as close as possible to the position they actually played, so you won't find me putting Tevez alongside Drogba or Carroll because none of them played with a striking partner.

...................................Hart

Sagna...........Kompany...........Hughes..........Jose Enrique

....................Scholes.............De Jong

.................................Toure

Walcott........................................................Malouda

................................Drogba

Subs: Jaaskelainen, Terry, Nolan, Johnson, Tevez, Carroll

Well in, looks a good team actually and nothing stands out as being a poor selection so yeah, good stuff. I'd have probably put Carroll in after a hattrick against Villa though.

Good list but the only thing i would change is Vermaelan in, certainly ahead of Terry on the bench at least. Harsh to leave Caroll out, but Drogba was fantastic.

Neither Vermaelen nor Terry should be there IMO, both played against shit clubs with shit attackers and neither was tested much.

Which other defenders could you have in there though? Terry and Verm weren't overly tested but they still put in good performances. Wigan actually threatened Chelsea by peppering their box with aerial deliveries early on in the first half and Terry was an absolute mammoth in dealing with them. I suppose Williamson could get in there.

Phil beat me to it. Terry is a class A twat and shouldn't be in that team as he wasn't brilliant and should have been sent off. Not sure who should be though...
