Yeah, same here. Never thought he was anything special but he looks the part. Very dangerous player.

Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship - and we will - success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once.

Johnson had the potential at Boro but he was absolutely nowhere near the player he is today, 100% shaped by City.

Nah, he was class for Boro last season before you signed him. Was obvious he was going to be a class player even while playing in the Championship.

Yeah, every player he speaks to just crumbles and loses all talent they have.

Yeh he was pretty decent when at Boro. Juande Ramos loved the kid! Done really well for Watford too, carried them for the durationof his loan.

Seems to be some sort of Italian coaching thing that gets the best out of him!

Mancini has turned him into a quality RW. Before he came here he was an out and out LW, and not a great one imo. Since coming to City he's moved to the right and he's added so much more to his game. All Mancio's doing.

Huge, huge credit to Mancini for not only spotting him but nurturing him as well, god if somebody had told me he'd be starting for England and a potentially title-challenging team 7 months ago i would've laughed

And you'd have been well within your rights to :laughcry:

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart
