No harm in Wilshere getting a shot imo.

Gibbs imo would have gone to the WC as No.2 LB if he wasn't mashup in the Liege CL home tie. And Walcott...who knows...judging by the likes of Lennon's performances...Walcott should have gone.

Anyway, we shall see. I guess Capello feels a mug for fielding so many Spurs retards...got him nowhere. Actually the whole squad lacked passion...except for Cashley imo.

Its easy to say players lack passion when the results don't go your way. They simply aren't good enough collectively.

True, but I just sensed a "Am I getting paid for this" attitude in the England Squad.

Look at the likes of Ghana/Uruguay/Japan even...they put everything they could into every game.

To me, the England squad acted like overpaid whinging cry baby faggots. Give 110% for club, but fvck playing for their country.

That is undoubtebly why Capello is starting from scratch...

Think most ppl remember his slipping against Man Utd in the CL, but he developed, and while Clichy was off with a fracture in his back, Gibbs was awesome. That all came to an end when we played Standard Liege in the CL and it finished his season (nasty injury), but he is back. Prefer him to Clichy imo.

He's definitely better than Clichy.

Yes mate, agree. Hope Clichy gets a 4-6 week injury and Kieran takes over, blocking Clichy's return as number one. Come on Arsene, u know it makes sense!

Nah, don't need Clichy getting injured. Just need Wenger to do his job as manager for once.

He is reluctant to start anyone else on the left though if all 3 are fit, the pecking order is still Clichy, Gibbs, Traore...but yeah I hope he changes and selects Gibbs first.

Wenger definitely rates Gibbs highly and is changing his mind on Clichy. Last season he started resting Clichy for Gibbs a lot more often, likewise with Sagna and Eboue. I reckon Gibbs will make the spot his own for Arsenal by seasons end.
