Why the fuck would you want to have giant muscle as a footballer? Doesn't seem logical.

Wouldn't gaining mass during the season be detrimental? I'm sure clubs develop a profile for each player and make sure they don't gain too much muscle/fat. Everyone has an ideal playing weight.

With the amount of running most footballers do they will never gain a lot of muscle anyway, running is high impact, so your body will try to be as efficient as possible alas keeping you as light as possible.

Ronaldo isn't very muscular. Any semi serious lifter will call him small.

Bergkamp cost us the FA Cup in 1999 and I'm guessing nobody said a peep.
To be fair DB had amassed a lot of accolades the previous season by fronting our assault on the double. Ozil's got a long way to go and a lot of hard work ahead of him before he hit's that level. I personally know he's a great player and he's been mismanaged.

FA Cup final is the same day as the Copa Del Rey final. I hope I don't have to miss Arsenal.

At least Crimson is a troll, makes it far easier to ignore his posts.

I think you have misunderstood what I meant.

The level where he is almost beyond approach by us enlightened Arsenal fans.

Don't see why that's funny. Crimson states that Bergkamp achieved things for Arsenal and was pivotal in a double winning season. Oezil has a long way to go before he can say that. Not something to laugh about.

Ozil has probably achieved more in football up until now than Bergkamp had at that stage.
