Arsenal Arsene Wenger manager will be making a bid for Man City reserve goalkeeper Joe Hart as soon as the summer transfer window opens up. Reports in the UK press are absolutely convinced that Wenger has made his mind up to bid for Hart and that the only thing that could stop Hart becoming a Gunner at The Emirates is if Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini vetoes the sale, something that is thought unlikely. Arsenal have been linked with many goalkeepers over the last few weeks ranging from former Spurs keeper Paul Robinson to Gianluigi Buffon but it is Hart that Wenger wants, If Joe Hart does join Arsenal it will spell the end for the blunder gloves Manuel Almunia and Lukasz Fabianski , neither have proven their worth at The Emirates and even though both were given chances to cement their positions they failed miserably. The Arsenal fans are anxious that Wenger signs a new keep, like the players they have zero confidence in the current keepers and Wenger must surely know that if he does not sign a new keep that the discontent with the Arsenal faithful will increase. The reports have also stated that Wenger has no back up plan in the event that Hart does not sign, he is so convinced that he will get Hart that he is simply not bothering to look at any other keepers, Wenger though does need to be careful, while it is thought probable that Hart will be allowed to leave Eastlands, there is no guarantee. |

I'd love for this to happen. He's tall, strong physically, and you just feel he's commanding. If City do sell him they must be lining up Buffon. |

City would be mad to allow such a talented keeper go to a rival. It would be welcome news for us if it does happen.

Quote from the GOONBOT FA Cup final is the same day as the Copa Del Rey final. I hope I don't have to miss Arsenal. | |

I never rated Hart that much at City but he's improved so much this season at Brum now he looks like he is going to be Englands future no.1 and potentially one of the best GK's around. |

He hasn't improved, he's always been this good, it's only since he got a consistent run of games that people have noticed it. He was brilliant at the U21 Euros last summer, that was before anything at Birmingham and he'd barely played a game for us in 2009. |
