Van Persie: “No, it’s not against Dirk. I will never be negative about Kuyt. Kuyt is a tremendous player and highly valuable. And I never discussed it with the others. It’s just something that I feel strongly about and apparently the other lads do too. But I do believe that if you have four creative players for the forward spots, you need to use them. With all respect to Dirk. It is my opinion and the staff allows me my opinion. I feel a lot of respect and I feel valued by our staff. That makes a real difference.”

Kuyts career>RVPs career. Fuck off to the treatment room.

Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship - and we will - success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once.

Every manager knows that 3 creative players + 1 player like Kuyt is more valuable to the team than just having 4 creative players

No way. Kuyt has done nothing in his career, the FA cup win and a CL final loss is the failed striker's pinnacle. RVP too has won the FA Cup and lost in a CL Final, but he has established himself as a top quality player who can excel in a role, Kuyt however cannot boast anything close.

lol RVP can't even complete a season mate, he may be the better player but Kuyt has undoubtedly had the better career.

Tell me what makes Kuyt's career achievements substantially better than RVP's...

He's captained 2 teams, won golden boots, won footballer of the year awards, scored in 2 cup finals (one being the champions league), aswell as scoring countless important goals over the years. He has a higher stature than RVP full stop, which means he's had the better career.

RVP needs to stop hanging about with the wogs at arsenal, he's becoming as dopey as them. slagging off your team mate before a massive tournament that they have a chance of winning.

Yep especially a player like Kuyt, who if needed will step up and net the pressure penalty to win the World Cup, if it came too it. Such a reliable player.

Paddy, you'd rather have Kuyt in a Liverpool shirt instead of RVP if you had the choice?

Spot on.
Scholes

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart
