I was watching Arsenal vs Liverpool FA Cup Final of 2001 and thought to myself "surely that is the biggest robbery of all time". Liverpool were battered for 89 minutes, but still won the game despite Arsenal creating so many chances, having shots blocked off the line, handled off the line and penalties not given. What is the biggest footballing injustice you can ever recall?

Man Utd v Arsenal - 2005 FA Cup final

I never actually watched that Arsenal v Liverpool final, one of very few FA Cup final I've missed. In the 2005 final though, we pretty much battered Arsenal for not only 90 but 120 minutes and lost on the lottery of a penalty shootout. So cruel.

2 Very good suggestions so far. After that 2005 FA Cup Final i literally giggled, it was that ridiculous, a complete miracle that we won it. What made it feel even more of a robbery was the fact that they were underdogs and played totally out of there skins, whilst we just didn't even seem to care about from the start. It was one of the best GK performances i've ever seen though from Jens Lehmann.
I still think Liverpool/Arsenal is the biggest injustice ever though, it should have been game over after the first 10 minutes really, incredible stuff that was

Although not quite as important a game, surely United vs Portsmouth in the 2008 FA Cup QF is up there. We were just utterly dominant all game and then that wanker Kusczcak brought down one of their strikers on a counter-attack and earned a penalty. Disgusting stuff

Also, how has no-one mentioned Chelsea - Barcelona (09)? That really was injustice.

Chelsea vs. Barca was an iinjustice because of the ammount of decisions that went against them but they didn't completely dominate the game like the others did

Winner.

:greatpost: Such a myth. Barca were the team who were wrongly reduced to 10 men.

Fuck off Rolling. Chelsea parked the bus at the Nou Camp and over the course of the two legs it was Barca who made the most attempt to go out and win the tie and deserved to go through. Fuck Chelsea up the arse.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

I still have nightmares about that game. We owned them for 95% of that match. I will always remember Henry stating after the match that we needed a fox in the box, Wenger answered him with the signing of franny Jeffers. :hysterics:
Quote from the GOONBOT

FA Cup final is the same day as the Copa Del Rey final. I hope I don't have to miss Arsenal.

Piss off. Barca are/were better than Chelsea and deserved to go through over the two legs, end of. Chelsea were animals and needed caging up, not letting into a final where millions of kids worldwide would be exposed to the x-rated antics of thugs like Ballack, Drogba and JT.
