In recent months, both players appear to be heading in the right direction. I thought it might be appropriate to provide a thread for anyone with any thoughts on either of the two players.

But, mainly I'd be interested to see the reasons behind why each of you would prefer either one of them. Both obviously talented footballers who are capable of reaching very decent heights in the future. Essentially, who is better and why?

Nani is head and shoulders above Nasri.

Nani is a quality player, every time he plays he makes things happen. I don't care what anyone says but his best flank is the left, and it's testament to his ability. Such a fine-tuned technician, brilliant build, great balance and very comfortable on the ball. His left foot is excellent as well and defenders struggle reading his dribbling.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

What heights would you say Nani could reach Scholes?

So fucking glad you said this. It does my fucking head in when that useless twat Martin Tyler always goes on about Nani preferring the right and all this other bollocks.

Nani is looking very good but at the price United paid so he should and I might add it is about time he began to deliver.

FA Cup final is the same day as the Copa Del Rey final. I hope I don't have to miss Arsenal.

It's funny how the respective opinions on Nani and Anderson have seemingly reversed over the course of this season. I really hope that the latter can recover from his injury and return to OT as the player he was when he first came.

I did try telling people that Nani was worth persevering with whilst Anderson was shit.

Scholes has always had something negative to say about Anderson (even when he played well to be fair) but yes, you were right in the end

Nani does indeed have mass potential whilst the other is a complete waste of space

Both very different players so it's hard to compare. On the wing Nani shits on Nasri because of his ability to dribble at speed and his trickery, but in a central position Nasri's superior intelligence makes him more useful.

Nasri's not what I would consider a very intelligent player...
