With just 9 games to go, and more for some, the race for fourth is really hotting up. We really are into the business end of the season and every game is huge, with no fewer than 4 teams with top 4 aspirations.

Spurs
Man City
Liverpool
Villa

Who will get there?

Spurs or City for me, hopefully the former who I magically tipped in July...

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Or both team will be scared of losing, 0-0 borefest.

Scholes you were not the only one who said if anyone broke the top 4 they were most likely. :P

Spurs have a tough run coming up but I still think they can do it. The sooner yours and Ant's favourite winger's back the better.

True but i'd be surprised. Both sides are better going forward than they are defensively and they like to play good attacking football. I can see it being a very open game.

Hopefully City but possibly Spurs, which will be a shame because they'll be European cannon fodder :(

Winner.

I'd love for Spurs to miss out on the last day of the season.

Yeah a 2-2 would be lovely.

If Spurs do it it'd be awful, they'd obviously go straight out in the qualifying place. City getting it would be for the best all-round i think, so i hope they finish 4th

Absolutely crazy :hysterics: I was out at footy training and I thought "we haven't had much debate about 4th, I'm gonna make a topic" and I come back.

Anyway, it's gonna be so so so tight. I think if we can get 7 points from our next 3 games it will be ours, we have nice fixtures towards the end of the season, but I'll never be totally confident because this is City and we never do things the easy way. I'm pretty positive it'll be between City and Liverpool though, a lot depends on Liverpool's game with United, they'll get such a lift if they can win that game and I fear the momentum will take them into 4th.
