Lol, I thought it was clear I was talking about H.Verona fans when I've already mentioned "Chievo fans".

Anyways, I think it was actually Vicenza. Either way, Italy...what a racist country!

“I don’t think he’ll be called up for Saturday [against Bologna]. It doesn’t depend on me, it depends on Mario. It’s not an issue between me and him, but between the club and the lad. He knows what he has to say. He either says it or he doesn’t. Eto’o was right when he said the team comes before any individual.” - Jose Mourinho.

“I’m not so stupid to miss five matches (unnecessarily). If an apology were due, I would have given it before. Being as I’m right, I’m not apologising.” - Mario Balotelli.

The stand-off between the Special One and 19-year-old striker Mario Balotelli appeared to deepen on Wednesday night as the young, brash forward was again left out the Inter squad as his side faced CSKA Moscow in the Champions League.

According to Italian reports, the latest fallout between Mourinho and Balotelli has arisen from a training ground incident, but while the details on the spat remain a little foggy, the poor relations between the factions is plain to see.

With Balotelli sitting in the stands as ise freeze-out continued, the cameras made sure to capture the forward’s reaction when Diego Milito finally gave the Nerazzurri the lead. Deadpan, Balotelli barely flinched when the ball struck the net and, while all around him leapt to their feet in celebration, Balotelli could only muster a little clap as he remained firmly rooted to his seat.

:hysterics: This was Mario's reaction to Milito's goal yesterday:

His temperament is so bad it's almost unreal. It's as if he really honestly doesn't give two fucks about anyone in the team but himself. He might be very talented but unless he sorts out his attitude, I just can't see him becoming as good as some say he will. He will be a liability, a serious problem to the manager, the players and the club in general.

Top coaches at top clubs don't want childish, insolent players like him and if he carries on like this, no top club will really want to touch him, despite all of his talents.

City star needs Ronaldo for inspiration

Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli believes Brazilian legend Ronaldo could be the key to his future success.

The Italian international has had a tempestuous start to his career at Eastlands, and was red carded in a crucial Europa League tie against Dynamo Kiev last week.

Balotelli is also out-of-favour with the Azzurri, and wasn't included in their squad for this weekend's Euro 2012 matches against Slovenia and Ukraine.

A former Inter Milan star with bags of potential, Balotelli remains a controversial figure despite his young age, and the 20-year-old will need to settle if he's to enjoy a long and successful career.

However, Roberto Mancini has faith in the player, and he's acknowledged that solving some of his problems could have a major impact on the field. It seems Ronaldo could hold the key.

"Introduce me to Ronaldo and I swear I’ll behave to the end of my playing career,” he told Le Iene.

“I never met him, so you know when you see the idol of a lifetime it can change your way of thinking? There are many great players, but Ronaldo was the greatest and so one word from him is worth a thousand from the others.”

The striker did jump to his own defence quickly though, and believes he's improved on his own behaviour. The misdemeanors will soon stop, and the Eastlands faithful will get to see the 'real' Balotelli soon, according to the player at least.

"I already behave myself fairly well, but I’ll try to stop doing those stupid little things. It happens. You’ll soon see the real Mario on the field!”

imo, he will be one of the world's best by the end of next season, no doubt it my mind at all.
:)

I forget this kid is only 20, hes still so young. But imo he will never materalise into anything more then a circus with talent. Its a shame because he could hit the heights but once again im amazed at football, this guy has the physical attributes, talent, charisma and pinache in abundance to excel in football, yet is unable to do so because mentally he isnt capable.
