I've refused to jump on the Wenger Sacking bandwagon, as I felt it was rather fickle. However after watching our first half at Stamford Bridge, i have to say i've lost complete and utter faith in this guy. We were raped 3-0 at home to our rivals, this should not be happenning to a club of Arsenals stature, and as much as it hurt i decidede that shit can happen. After 20 minutes at the bridge, were 2-0 down and i could quite happily give Wenger the biggest right hook. The second goal was digusting to witness and was almost a carbon copy of Rooneys 2nd where the opposition strolled up the pitch, picked their spot and kicked the ball into the net. Wenger has again insisted on playing a midget up front against one of the toughest defences in the league. Even if we win 5-2 today, its no compensation for the humiliation i now feel as a lifelong and devoted Arsenal fan. As a club were better then this, us fans deserve better then to be whipping boys for our rivals and the man in charge evidently is oblivious to our Sunday league defending or too stubborn to do anything about it. Not good enough. Wenger out. |

Yep. You can feel fickle calling for his head, but what great managers do is learn by their mistakes and rectify them. What has Wenger done following last week's humiliating loss? Nothing. The problem is, he thinks he is getting everything right, he believes his system is the system to bring the club glory and his style of football will defeat contenders, but it won't. Defensive solidarity and a new system is required, but Wenger truly believes what he is doing is right and this is why he needs to go, because he'll never understand that he's wrong. |
