Ignore Wrighty on this thread, just clueless when it comes to this sort of thing.

He thinks Duncan Ferguson was a busby babe. He thinks there are 20 teams in the Championship. He thinks an assist is no longer an assist if the goalscorer takes a touch before shooting. He thinks 'man on' is road sign. He thinks he knows his football.
Scholes

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

There's a great deal of subjectivity and other people's lists will differ significantly.
I don't really see how. Anyone who differs will just either know more, or less, about the clubs they list. It's not subjective in any real sense.
Shambolic post, it's an extremely subjective topic, though not so subjective that ''Wigan are bigger than Leeds'' is an acceptable opinion.
I really really don't see how. The 'size' of a club is based on tangible things: history, fanbase, income, stadium, pulling power etc....

That's why the only reason for differences will be on knowledge grounds.
But it's how much weight each person gives to each category that makes it subjective. Next.
Bollocks is it. You had a go at me 2 weeks or so ago for claiming Arsenal are bigger than Liverpool because I tried to assign weight to different aspects of 'size'; "football has its own language" - yes, and in that language the 'size' of a club is as objective as anything can be. Next
Come back to me when you're near my level of footballing expertise will ya. I had a go at you for thinking Arsenal's fanbase was bigger than Liverpool's and then basing your entire argument on that, not taking into account historical achievement.

It's subjective to an extent. Being big is a mixture of elements you've mentioned, but it's impossible to make it into a mathematical equation, and that's where the subjective aspects introduces itself.

You can watch as many season reviews as you like but you'll never understand the game or the culture of football like I do, and you'll never be a tenth of the footballer I am.

That wasn't the reason for your rant on the Arsenal-Liverpool topic, but whatever.

I suppose you have a point about this. You've convinced me that it's more subjective than I first thought, but far less so than most things. And btw, that it can't be reduced to maths is not the only criterion of subjectivity lol!

You will never understand tactics like I do or know which player is good, who is playing well, etc, etc, etc. In short, I know more about football than you. I understand the game as a whole more than you do. Sure, you might get a trial here or there, journey man that you are.

Basically, Scholes is Dean Windass, I'm Jose Mourinho.

I'd be class at both actually, my eye for talent is renowned on this forum. Ask GB...Malbranque, Arteta, Carlton Cole, Benayoun, Danny Murphy, Dirk Kuyt, N.Zogbia, Fletcher, J.Cole etc.
