Very useful player, could do a decent fill-in job for most top sides. Could very possibly get more games now that Robinho's gone to Santos, although I would've thought Bellamy's form should keep him out of the first-choice set-up.

Then he should be starting every week. SWP is average.

He is a left-sided player. Messi and Robben are examples of players suited to playing on the opposite wing but Petrov is far more lethal on the left (c) Jamie Redknapp.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

Yeah he does look far more comfortable on the left but you can't argue with what he's producing from out on the right.

Really like him as a player, good technique, very direct and also has an end product. If he were at, say, an Everton then I think he'd be brilliant and talked of as being a very good level. I think being at City is a bit difficult for him, because there are more talented players there than him. However it doesn't mean he can't do a good job, which he clearly is.

always thought he was a good player, much rather play against city without him than with him
