God knows how he went from complete shit in 07/08 to a bloody decent player nowdays...mind boggling how he's suddenly deaged and it makes you wonder if he'll still be effective at the age of 38...

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

If he has any future at the club it'll be at AM rather than LM, he's far too slow to be genuinely effective out side.

Blackburn at OT in 07/08 was as good as most of his performances since. When I seen that game, I had hope that he could turn out more great performances. I remember mentioning that several times on SS Forums when he was getting slated left, right and centre.

That game he was cutting inside, bursting from centre midfield, weaving in and out of Blackburn players, going on mazy runs doing pirouettes around players and he really looked majestic player while doing it. He didn't really produced more of it in that season but that was still a turning point for him IMO.

I think he was having problems adapting to playing without his pace but he's really mastered the other side to his game since.
