Yeah wouldn't be unhappy with that at all although I really don't know why Mancini is bringing midfielders here and no defenders when out strongest area is the midfield.

He must not be impressed with De Jong or Barry. I'm betting on the latter.

Yeh I agree, he's been very complimentary of Sir Nige so I think he's not too impressed with Barry. He is a big fan of physical, tough players and Barry isn't exactly one of those despite being a strong, intelligent player.

Imagine De Jong and Flamini with Ireland playing just ahead in a three man midfield. I think that would be quite a combination to be honest.

Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship - and we will - success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once.

AC Milan have not heard from Manchester City regarding a loan move for French midfielder Mathieu Flamini.

"We have heard rumours regarding possible interest from Manchester City for Flamini," AC Milan sporting director Ariedo Braida said.

"But for the time being, there has been no official offer, interest or talks between AC Milan and Manchester City.

"Flamini is an AC Milan player."

The former Arsenal star has struggled to earn a regular place with the Rossoneri this season, making just eight Serie A starts for Leonardo's side, and he is desperate to play first-team football in a bid to keep his hopes of a World Cup place alive.
