Moe, you tried debating this before and I took you to the cleaners, don't make me do it again.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Henry cheated end of story, it was the most blatant bending of the rules I've ever seen but I wouldn't call it the worst piece of cheating I've ever seen. Some people seem to think that because he's Thierry Henry that he shouldn't be criticised for it and we should instead show respect to a player who has been unbelievable over the years. That is complete bullshit, he's just like any other player and he should be criticised for it.

I applaud Homer for sticking to what he believes in and slating Henry for it even though he's a legend of his own club.

Well the only reason there is as much criticism as there is of Henry is becuase its him so people have every right to turn that and say thats happened and instead show him some respect. Homers comment was pathetic saying he ruined his reputation ect.... and for anyone who this has happened with I feel sorry for them. They will have their view of one of the worlds best ever players shadowed.

No, if Sidney fucking Govou handballed it a lot less fuss would've been made - FACT.

And applauding Homer for his disgraceful insults towards a player that should be his ultimate hero...disgusting.

MANYOU/Moe - Which crime is worse - Murder or Attempted Murder - let's say the murderer successfully shoots someone from range whilst the attempted murderer misses his target...

He didn't ruin his reputation for that I disagree with Homer, but he is no longer the saintly player he once was in my eyes. Ruining his reputationis taking it way too far though. I also agree that because he is Thierry Henry that it get blown up a bit more but even so, it's not as if he should be immune from criticism because he's a great player. He cheated, the first handball can be called instinctive but the second cannot be condoned or excused in any way unless you're well and truly deluded, so just like he got loads and loads of praise whenever he done something good, he should have to take a bit of stick when he does something like a blatant handball that ruins a nations dreams.

I just hate it when I see or hear people say "Stop criticising him, this is Theirry Henry we're talking about here". At least Homer can out aside his love for th player and what he done for his club and say what he feels without being severely biased towards him. Some of the people who actually try and defend Henry's actions will have a different outlook when Joe Bloggs does it against their team.

Henry should be criticised for what he did, but it should only be considered a miniscule, almost invisible stain, on an otherwise immaculate career. Those who will now only remember him for this are cunts.

You're praising Homer for putting bias to one side, but you fail to latch onto the fact that he hasn't done so. He's biased towards Ireland, the underdogs, so bias is not eliminated from his posts whatsoever.

Well there's two different things there the actual attempting to murder someone and the result of those actions. Both people attempting those crimes are as bad as the other, just because one can't fucking shoot straight doesn't make him a better person. So is Henry supposed to be the more innocent, attempted murderer? He's not though, he murdered our World Cup chances.

Wrighty is through on goal and has an obvious square pass to give me an easy open goal, but instead opts for the shot. He scores from the shot.

Goonie is through on goal and has an obvious square pass to give me an easy open goal, but instead opts for the shot. He hits the crossbar.

The first situation turns out alright for the team, but both should be criticised equally for their shambolic decision-making.
