You really are an idiot. The point I'm making is that Federer dedicates his TIME to tennis, whether it's in a playing or watching capacity, so why can't Walcott to the same for ONE day.
You're the idiot, you make an absolute nonsense comparison based on someone who is fit to play and someone who isn't. He wouldn't have been going anywhere to just watch Tennis.

That's because tennis is an individual sport................

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

Greatest ownage machine: Scholes. Absolute animal when he was a regular poster, I always knew I was in the right when he was backing me up, and I couldn't wait to read a topic that he was posting in because I knew he'd be tearing someone apart

I know it is which is why I wondered why you bothered to mention watching it. It's all guess work anyway. We have no idea why he wasn't there.

Would you wan't Walcott alongside you in the trenches Alf?
Quote from the GOONBOT

FA Cup final is the same day as the Copa Del Rey final. I hope I don't have to miss Arsenal.

I could use him as a human shield.

The comparison was drawn because Federer makes time for his sport, but Walcott didn't make time for his for one day.

Ronaldo turned up to the Copa del Rey final.

Some players Miss the birth of their child because of footballing commitments, never mind 6 weeks after having a baby. Gerrard sits on the bench in league games if hes injured never mind a cup final. Lads been injured for ages and has been a pundit on SkySports during his injury for Southampton and his boyhood club Liverpool but cant even make it to wembley to watch his team mates win a cup, no excuse im afraid

Here's an excuse: he was not needed at the stadium for any reason. Goonie is correct, nobody's business why he wasn't there, he wasn't needed or required.

Shit excuse. If your in the first team squad team are in a cup final you turn up, especially if youve been there a while and its the clubs chance of winning first trophy in 9 years. not like he had to travel far. Unless there was a family emergency (which i doubt with the face timing)

Flanagan is travelling to brazil and hes not even in the squad , with no chance of playing ffs.

He wasn't needed there by anyone, but why didn't he feel the need to be there? He's been fighting in vein to win a trophy with the club, and here's a chance to be involved (in some small part) in the celebrations that he and his teammates have dreamt of for years. But he doesn't even make an appearance?

I don't know why anyone involved in the cause wouldn't want to enjoy the moment with the teammates who have fought with him to achieve it.

You hear about players missing games all the time due to the birth of their child so name me some who missed it. Also, as I said it's the reason I don't blame him. God knows what the actual reason was.
