Ronaldonho at his best > Messi, Baggio and Pires at their best (although we probably haven't seen Messi's best).
Ronaldinho 's best season was 2005/2006 where he scored 24 goals and made 17 assists. Messi's best season was last season where he scored 38 goals and made 16 assists. Its no fucking contest. Messi is going to better those goal scoring statistics this season too.
Simplistic bloke.
You're right, I've not taken into account how much more entertaining Messi is.
Fucking pathetic post. Subjective yes, but deary me, Ronaldinho was far more entertaining than Messi, fucking hell. Messi can only dream of doing some of the things Ronaldinho did.

Seriously, Frank Lampard is an absolute legend of the game. He needs to be recognised in some way eg. Frank Lampard OBE, Sir Frank Lampard or some kind of lifetime achievement award.

OH DEARY ME. FUCKING HOWLER. MESSI IS BARELY ENTERTAINING, YOU KNOW WHAT HE'S DOING EVERYTIME HE TOUCHES THE BALL. NOBODY IN THE WORLD KNEW WHAT RONALDINHO WAS GOING TO DO AND WATCHING A DEFENDER TRY TO STOP HIM WAS PURE BLISS. JESUS CHRIST. HOWLER. FUCKING HOWLER.

Not one person who has posted in this thread has made a better argument than I have. Messi has already completely surpassed Ronaldinho, and Messi still has a long time left at the top of his game.

Ronaldinho is the most entertaining player of all-time, as well as the most talented and influential in his given peak.

Poor post. Barely entertaining my ass. The amount of players he leaves absolutely on their asses is amazing, and the fact that everyone int he stadium knows he is going to run past players yet he still cannot be stopped is testament to his quality.

Messi is renowned for his dribbling and I honestly think Ronaldinho was better at it, and the way he did it is far more awe-inspiring than a nimble midget with great close control.

When taking on a player, I'd be more confident that 'Dinho would retain possession...

I'd be more confident of Messi creating a goal scoring opportunity for himself or at teammate.

I don't think Wrighty watched football when Dinho was at his peak, and it doesn't help that he can't play the game, because if he did he might appreciate the most technically adept player to every kick a ball. Messi is undeniably great but he's nowhere near as inspirational as Dinho.

Okay. My take on this:-

Zidane > Ronaldinho. There, finished.
