Nah Johnson was a flop, but bar him there's basically no-one. Everton are a very solid club; Moyes took them from a near-relegation side to a genuine top 6 outfit, which actually managed to worm its way into CL qualification one year.

Wasted £18m on Arshavin, £11m on Nasri, £7m on Rosicky, and most importantly, he hasn't won anything for absolutely ages despite having the ability to spend and push on.

That's another criterion I should've mentioned; buying when it's necessary to do so. Wenger has in general been shrewd in the market but he hasn't spent enough, and maybe that's more important as far as this thread is concerned.
Nasri was closer to £15m and Arshavin and Eduardo were quite a bit less but Wenger doesn't spend outside of whatwe make and now looking at all the financial worries of United ect... you can see the benefit, maybe if Wenger had spent money we never had like a lot of other managers have at clubs in the Premiership we might have won more but football is a business and Wenger runs his better than anyone.

Also Nasri is 22 not wasted anything, I actually like Nasri and think he is a decent player but even if you don't you got to realise with him being 22 its too early to say its wasted. Rosicky has been unlucky with injuries but 07/08 Rosicky was class before he then got injured too. Arshavin yeah not been the greatest though.

Bruce raped Valencia and Palacios, as well as Rodallega and the newly reformed and world class Titty Bramble. WEW.
